The Bendix® Versajust® LS™ Slack Adjuster with the WearMax™ Clutch

is designed for use on S-Cam brakes – the most common type used on commercial vehicles.

Built to last, the new Versajust slack is compatible with nearly any automatic slack adjuster or link-style ASA. What’s more, the Versajust slack is crosscompatible (across each axle) with the Bendix® ASA-5® slack adjuster.

The Bendix® Versajust® Slack Adjuster (with corresponding clevis) can be installed as a direct replacement for the equivalent Bendix® ASA-5® model.

When replacing a Bendix ASA-5 slack with a Versajust model:

•

Replacement of an ASA-5 on one side of the vehicle axle, no longer requires replacement of the ASA-5 on the other side of the axle. The Versajust and ASA-5 slacks are cross-compatible on the axle.

All other installation instructions and considerations remain the same as that of the Bendix ASA-5 model.
