Quick-Fit™ Suction Liner System
Manifold for Stopcock Canister
MANIFOLD ONLY
See Figure 1.
1. Turn stopcocks (A) on canisters to OFF, horizontal position (B).
2. Attach tubing connections of manifold (C) to the ports underneath
the reusable stopcock canister.
3. Connect vacuum tubing (D) to the manifold vacuum port.
4. Insert liners (E) into canisters and press firmly around perimeter.
5. Attach white vacuum hose (F) to vacuum port of all liners.
6. Attach patient tube (G) to the patient port of any of the four Quick-Fit liners.
7. Cap pour spouts and tandem ports (H) of all canisters. (The patient ports of the other canisters do not
have to be capped if the stopcock for that canister remains closed.)
8. Open stopcock on the canister with patient tubing attached.
WHEN FIRST CANISTER IS FULL:
1. LEAVING VACUUM ON, remove the patient tube (G) and cap the patient port.
2. Close the stopcock (B).
3. Attach the patient tube (G) to the patient port of the next canister.
4. Open stopcock (I) for the second canister.
5. Disconnect vacuum hose (F) from vacuum port of full canister and cap port.
6. Replace full liner if necessary and dispose of according to hospital policy.
Note: All used and unused liners must be discarded after procedure.
IMPORTANT: BE SURE THAT THE PATIENT PORT IS CAPPED BEFORE CLOSING STOPCOCKS OR
DISCONNECTING VACUUM TUBING.

Directions for Use
MANIFOLD WITH TANDEM TUBING
See Figure 1 for Steps 1-6.
1. Turn stopcocks (A) on canisters to OFF, horizontal position (B).
2. Attach tubing connections of manifold (C) to the ports underneath the
reusable stopcock canister.
3. Connect vacuum tubing (D) to the manifold vacuum port.
4. Insert liners (E) into canisters and press firmly around perimeter.
5. Attach white vacuum hose (F) to vacuum port of all liners.
6. Attach patient tube (G) to the patient port of any of the four Quick-Fit liners. This is the first canister.
See Figure 2 for Steps 7-10.
7. Attach tandem tube to the tandem port of the first canister and to the patient port of the next canister (J).
8. Repeat the tandem-to-patient, tandem-to-patient connection until the last canister is reached (K).
9. Cap last tandem port and all pour spouts (L).
10. Open (I) stopcocks (A) on all canisters.
WHEN CANISTERS ARE FULL:
1. LEAVE VACUUM ON AND STOPCOCKS OPEN while removing patient and tandem tubing.
2. Cap all pour spouts, patient ports, and tandem ports.
3. Turn off all stopcocks (B).
4. Disconnect vacuum hose (F) from vacuum port of all liners and cap ports.
5. Dispose of liners according to hospital policy.
Note: All used and unused liners must be discarded.
IMPORTANT: BE SURE THAT THE PATIENT PORT IS CAPPED BEFORE CLOSING STOPCOCKS OR
DISCONNECTING VACUUM TUBING.

Al Paciente
MÚLTIPLE SOLAMENTE
Consulte la figura 1.
1. Coloque las llaves de paso (A) de los depósitos en la
posición horizontal de OFF (cerradas) (B).
2. Conecte los tubos de conexión de la vía múltiple (C) a
los puertos situados bajo el depósito reutilizable con llave de paso.
3. Conecte los tubos de aspiración (D) al puerto de aspiración de la vía múltiple.
4. Introduzca bolsas recolectoras (E) en los depósitos y presione firmemente alrededor de todo el perímetro.
5. Conecte la manguera blanca de aspiración (F) al puerto de aspiración de todas las bolsas.
6. Conecte el tubo de paciente (G) al puerto de paciente de cualquiera de las cuatro bolsas Quick-Fit.
7. Tape los picos de vertido y los puertos de conexión en tándem (H) de todos los depósitos. (No es
necesario tapar los puertos de paciente de los otros depósitos si las llaves de paso hacia esos depósitos
permanecen cerradas).
8. Abra la llave de paso del depósito que tiene conectado el tubo de paciente
CUANDO EL PRIMER DEPÓSITO ESTÉ LLENO:
1. CON LA ASPIRACIÓN ENCENDIDA; retire el tubo de paciente (G) y tape el puerto de paciente.
2. Cierre la llave de paso (B).
3. Conecte el tubo de paciente (G) al puerto de paciente del siguiente depósito.
4. Abra la llave de paso (I) del segundo depósito.
5. Desconecte la manguera de aspiración (F) del puerto de aspiración del depósito lleno y tape el puerto.
6. Reemplace la bolsa recolectora llena si es necesario y deséchela según las normativa del hospital.
Nota: todas las bolsas recolectoras, usadas o no, deben desecharse después del procedimiento.
IMPORTANTE: ASEGÚRESE DE QUE EL PUERTO DE PACIENTE ESTÉ TAPADO ANTES DE CERRAR LLAVES
DE PASO O DESCONECTAR TUBOS DE ASPIRACIÓN.

Indicaciones de uso
MÚLTIPLE CON TUBOS EN TÁNDEM
Consulte la figura 1 para los pasos 1 a 6.
1. Coloque las llaves de paso (A) de los depósitos en la
posición horizontal de OFF (cerradas) (B).
2. Conecte los tubos de conexión de la vía múltiple (C) a
los puertos situados bajo el depósito reutilizable
con llave de paso.
3. Conecte los tubos de aspiración (D) al puerto de aspiración de la vía múltiple.
4. Introduzca bolsas recolectoras (E) en los depósitos y presione firmemente alrededor de todo el perímetro.
5. Conecte la manguera blanca de aspiración (F) al puerto de aspiración de todas las bolsas.
6. Conecte el tubo de paciente (G) al puerto de paciente de cualquiera de las cuatro bolsas Quick-Fit.
Este es el primer depósito.
Consulte la figura 2 para los pasos 7 a 10.
7. Conecte el tubo del tándem al puerto de conexión en tándem del primer depósito y al puerto de
paciente del siguiente depósito (J).
8. Vuelva a realizar la conexión tándem a paciente, tándem a paciente hasta llegar al último depósito (K).
9. Tape el último puerto de conexión en tándem y todos los picos de vertido (L).
10. Abra (I) las llaves de paso (A) de todos los depósitos.
CUANDO LOS DEPÓSITOS ESTÉN LLENOS:
1. DEJE LA ASPIRACIÓN ENCENDIDA Y LAS LLAVES DE PASO ABIERTAS mientras retira los tubos de paciente
y de conexión en tándem.
2. Tape todos los picos de vertido, los puertos de paciente y los puertos de conexión en tándem.
3. Cierre todas las llaves de paso (B).
4. Desconecte la manguera de aspiración (F) del puerto de aspiración de todas las bolsas recolectoras y
tape los puertos.
5. Deseche las bolsas según las normativas del hospital.
Nota: todas las bolsas recolectoras, usadas o no, deberán desecharse.
IMPORTANTE: ASEGÚRESE DE QUE EL PUERTO DE PACIENTE ESTÉ TAPADO ANTES DE CERRAR LLAVES DE
PASO O DESCONECTAR TUBOS DE ASPIRACIÓN.
