This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any AC
electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other
electrical outlet.

WARNING: This multiple temperature styling comb has been specially
designed to straighten or style very coarse, thick hair. Due to this special
application, this styling comb will be hotter on the HI setting than regular
dual-heat stylers. Due to the extreme heat capabilities of this styling

comb, extra care should be taken when using.

• Keep unit away from contact with all skin areas. Do not touch comb
with fingertips.

• For shorter hair, place a thin plastic comb between scalp and styling
comb to avoid touching scalp.

• Place fingers of free hand on safety tip when more control is needed
for styling.

• Test small section of hair to determine correct heat setting for type
of hair.

PRE-HEAT: Rest the comb on its safety stand on a smooth, flat surface, and
plug in. Turn on, set the heat control at the desired position, and allow
comb to heat.

USING YOUR STYLING COMB: For styling, hair should be clean and dry. For
optimum styling temperature, turn heat control dial to HI setting (it will take
about five minutes to heat up). Then, select a temperature according to the
type of hair you have (see below).

TEST A SMALL SECTION OF HAIR BEFORE USING; THEN ADJUST
TEMPERATURE ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS.

This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user
serviceable parts.

CLEANING:

1. Unplug styling comb and allow to cool. Comb must be cleaned only
when cold.

2. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the handle. Do not allow water or
any other liquid to go into handle.

STORAGE:

• Unplug appliance and let it cool; store in a clean, dry place.

• Store the cord loosely coiled.

• Never wrap the cord around unit; this could cause the cord to wear

prematurely and break.

• Do not put any stress on cord where it enters the handle, as it could
cause cord to fray and possibly break.

• Never hang unit up by the power cord.

How to Use

HI

This setting is very hot. Use it if hair is very
coarse and thick, but in good condition.

MED-HI TO MEDIUM

Use heat settings in this range for thick, wavy
hair in good condition.

MEDIUM TO MED-LO:

Use heat settings in this range for color-treated
hair in good condition.

LO

Use for very fine, fragile, damaged or dry hair.

Este artefacto es para uso doméstico y puede ser enchufado en cualquier

PRECAUCION: Este peine estilizador de múltiple temperatura ha sido
especialmente diseñado para estirar o peinar cabellos muy gruesos y
abundantes. Debido a esta especial cualidad, este peine estilizador

PRE-CALENTAMIENTO: Coloque el peine en su descanso en una

COMO USAR SU PEINE ESTILIZADOR: Para estilizar, el cabello debe estar

Como Usar

Este aparato requiere poco mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan

LIMPIEZA:

1. Desenchufe la unidad y déjela que enfríe. El peine solamente debe
limpiarse cuando esté frío.

2. Use un paño suave, ligeramente húmedo para limpiar el mango. No
deje que penetre agua u otro líquido al mango.

ALMACENAJE:

• Desconecte el artefacto, déjelo enfriar y guárdelo en un lugar seco y

limpio.

• Enrolle el cable suavemente, sin ajustarlo.

• Nunca lo envuelva ajustado alrededor de su unidad, esto podría causar

que se gaste prematuramente y rompa.

• No ponga presión al cable donde éste entra al mango, ya que esto
podría causar el desgaste del cable y su posible rotura.

• Nunca cuelgue la unidad por el cable.

Cuidado y Limpieza

ALTA

Esta posición es muy caliente. Usela si el cabello
es muy grueso y abundante pero en buenas
condiciones.

MEDIANA ALTA A MEDIANA

Use esta temperatura para cabellos gruesos,
ondulados en buenas condiciones.

MEDIANA A MEDIANA BAJA

Use esta temperatura para cabellos teñidos en
buena condición.

BAJA

Use para cabellos muy finos, frágiles, dañados o
secos.

manner or dropped into water. Take appliance to a service center for

examination and repair.

■ Keep the cord away from hot or heated surfaces. Do not wrap the

cord around the appliance.

■ Never block the air opening of the appliance or place it on a soft

surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be

blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair and the like.

■ Never use while drowsy or while sleeping.

■ Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.

■ Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are

being used. Do not operate where oxygen is being administered.

■ This unit is hot when in use. Do not let eyes and bare skin touch

heated surfaces.

POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a

safety feature, this plug fits in a polarized outlet only one way.

If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again.

If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat

this safety feature.

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS

1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.

2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.

3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.

4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion

marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be

serviced and the line cord replaced.

5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could

place undue stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and

cause it to fray and break.

DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR

IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.

IMPORTANT: During the first few minutes of initial use, there may be a slight

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
