IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

■ Do not place the heated unit directly on any surface while it is hot or still plugged in. Use the safety stand provided.
■ Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug fits in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature

HOW TO USE
This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any
other electrical outlet.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and a slight odor. This is normal and will quickly disappear.
WARNING: This multiple temperature curling brush has been specially designed to curl very coarse, thick, hard-to-curl hair. Due to this
special application, the barrel will be hotter on the 13-15 (High) settings than on a regular dual-heat curling brush.
• Keep unit away from contact with all skin areas. Do not touch brush barrel with fingertips.
• For shorter hair, place a thin plastic comb between scalp and curling brush barrel to avoid touching scalp.
• Place fingers of free hand on safety tip when more control is needed for curling.
• Test small section of hair to determine correct heat setting for type of hair.
SPECIAL FEATURE: This brush iron features solid-state electronic circuitry with a heat sensor that detects temperature loss and
quickly boosts the power to bring the heat level back to optimum styling temperature. This allows styling in half the time it takes with
an ordinary brush iron.
1. Hair should be clean, free of hair spray and completely dry before using any styling iron.
2. Plug the appliance into an AC wall outlet and press the On push-button switch. The power indicator light illuminates.
3. For fast heat-up, turn the heat control dial to settings 13-15 (High). It will take about 60 to 90 seconds to heat up. To reach optimum
styling temperature, allow brush to heat for 2-4 mins. Then, turn the heat control dial to the heat setting best suited for your hair
type. TEST A SMALL SECTION OF HAIR BEFORE USING.

This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts. Refer it to qualified service personnel if servicing
is needed.
1. Unplug curling brush and let it cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe the handle with a soft, damp cloth. DO NOT LET WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID GET INTO THE HANDLE.
3. Store in a clean, dry place with cord loosely coiled. Do not put any stress on cord where it enters the handle, as it could cause the
cord to fray and possibly break. Do not hang unit by the power cord.
CARE AND CLEANING

COMO USAR

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be
serviced and the line cord replaced.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and
cause it to fray and break.
