LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any
are found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line
cord replaced.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue
stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and
break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE,
OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.

How to Use
This appliance is for household use and can be plugged into any AC electrical
outlet.
GETTING STARTED
IMPORTANT: During the first few minutes of use, you may notice smoke and
a slight odor. This is normal and will quickly disappear.
WARNING: This multiple temperature, triple-barrel waver has been specially
designed for very coarse, thick, hard-to-curl hair.
Due to this special application, the barrels will be very hot in the HIGH (21-30)
settings. Be very careful when using it.
• Keep unit away from contact with all skin areas.
• Do not touch barrels with fingertips.
• For shorter hair, place a thin plastic comb between scalp and barrels to avoid
touching the scalp.
•Test a small section of hair before using.
SPECIAL FEATURE
The solid-state circuitry in this triple-barrel waver has a sensor that detects
temperature loss and boosts the power to bring the heat level back to optimum
styling temperature. This allows you to style the hair in half the time it takes with
ordinary curling irons.

PREHEATING
1. Rest the triple-barrel waver on its safety stand on a flat, smooth surface and
plug into an electrical outlet.
2. Turn on the triple-barrel waver with the temperature control and set it to
the appropriate setting for your hair type. It will take 60-90 seconds for the
triple-barrel waver to heat up. For optimum styling performance, let the waver
continue to heat for about 2 to 3 minutes before using.
HEAT SETTINGS
Hair Type Heat Setting
Very coarse, highly resistant HIGH (21-30)
Dense, hard-to-curl MED/HIGH (16-20)
Thick and wavy MEDIUM (13-15)
Easy-to-curl, normal LOW/MEDIUM (6-12)
Very fine, fragile, light colored LOW (1-5)
STYLING
For a complete styling, hair should be clean and dry.
1. Section hair into strands of no more than 1/2-inch thick and 2 inches wide.
2. Press clamp to open waver.
3. Place sectioned strands between waving barrels.
4. Close clamp for a few seconds while heat sets the wave.
5. Press clamp to open waver and release hair.
Care and Cleaning
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts.
CLEANING
1. Unplug triple-barrel waver and let it cool. Clean only when it is cold.
2. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the handle.
3. Do not allow water or any other liquid to go into the handle.
STORAGE
• Unplug appliance and let it cool.
• Store in a clean, dry place.
• Never wrap the cord around the unit; this could cause the cord to wear
prematurely and break.
• Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the handle, as it could cause
the cord to fray and possibly break.
• Never hang unit by the power cord.
IMPORTANT:
Wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Line
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of the appliance may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
• The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter N or is coloured black.
• The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which
is marked with the letter L or is coloured red.
If a 13-amp plug is used, a 5-amp fuse must be fitted or if any other type of plug
is used, a 5-amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or adaptor, or at the
Distribution Board.
This product has been tested and manufactured in accordance with the British
Safety Regulations.

Ne jamais bloquer les ouvertures d’air de l’appareil et ne jamais le placer sur une
surface molle comme un lit ou un divan qui peut bloquer les ouvertures d’air.
Enlever peluche, cheveux et autres des ouvertures d’air.

Éloigner le fil électrique des surfaces chaudes ou chauffantes. Ne pas enrouler le
fil électrique autour de l’appareil. Utiliser le support fourni.

Ne jamais utiliser quand on dort ou sommeille.
❑
Ne pas laisser tomber et ne pas introduire d’objet dans une ouverture ou un
tuyau.

CONSEILS DE SÉCURITÉ POUR LE FIL ÉLECTRIQUE
1. Ne jamais tirer sur le fil ou sur l’appareil.
2. Pour brancher la fiche : Attraper fermement la fiche et la guider dans la prise.
3. Pour débrancher l’appareil, attraper la fiche et l’enlever de la prise.
4. Avant chaque usage, inspecter le fil électrique pour coupures ou marques
d’usure. Si on en trouve cela indique qu’il faut réparer l’appareil et changer
le fil électrique.
5. Ne jamais enrouler le fil trop étroitement autour de l’appareil car cela pourrait
exercer trop de pression sur le fil à l’endroit ou il entre dans l’appareil
et pourrait l’effilocher et le faire casser.
NE PAS UTILISER L’APPAREIL SI LE FIL ÉLECTRIQUE EST ENDOMMAGÉ, SI
L’APPAREIL NE FONCTIONNE QUE DE FAÇON INTERMITTENTE OU S’IL NE
FONCTIONNE PLUS DU TOUT.
Utilisation
Cet appareil est pour utilisation domestique et peut être branché dans n’importe
quelle prise électrique.
POUR COMMENCER
IMPORTANT : On peut noter de la fumée et une légère odeur pendant les
premières minutes d’utilisation. C’est un phénomène normal qui disparaîtra
rapidement.
AVERTISSEMENT : Cet appareil à ondulations à trois tubes à températures
multiples a été spécialement conçu pour friser les cheveux très rudes, épais et
difficiles à friser. Du fait de cette utilisation spéciale, les tubes deviendront très
chauds sur le réglage HAUT (21-30). Il faut faire très attention quand on l’utilise.
• Éviter d’entrer en contact avec la peau.
• Ne pas toucher les tubes du bout des doigts.
• Pour les cheveux plus courts, placer un peigne mince en plastique entre le cuir
chevelu et les tubes pour éviter de toucher le cuir chevelu.
•Tester une petite section des cheveux avant d’utiliser.
CARACTÉRISTIQUES SPÉCIALES
Les circuits à semi-conducteurs de cet appareil à ondulations à trois tubes
possèdent un capteur qui détecte la baisse de température et augmente la
puissance pour remettre la température au niveau optimum. Cela permet de se
coiffer en la moitié du temps qu’il faut avec des fers à friser ordinaires.
PRÉCHAUFFAGE
1. Faire reposer l’appareil à ondulations à trois tubes sur son support de sécurité
sur une surface plate et unie et brancher dans une prise de courant.
2. Allumer l’appareil à ondulations à trois tubes avec la commande de
température et régler au niveau approprié pour votre type de cheveux. Il lui
faudra entre 60 et 90 secondes pour chauffer. Pour obtenir la température
optimale, laisser chauffer de 2 à 3 minutes supplémentaires avant d’utiliser.
RÉGLAGES DE TEMPÉRATURE
Réglage de chaleur selon le type de cheveux
Très rudes, extrêmement résistants HIGH (21-30)
Denses, difficiles à boucler MED/HIGH (16-20)
Épais et ondulés MEDIUM (13-15)
Faciles à boucler, normaux LOW/MEDIUM (6-12)
Très fins, fragiles, de couleur claire LOW (1-5)
COIFFURE
Pour une coiffure complète, les cheveux doivent être propres et secs.
1. Séparer les cheveux en mèches ne dépassant pas 1/2 pouce d’épaisseur
et 2 pouces de largeur.
2. Appuyer sur le levier d'ouverture de la pince pour ouvrir l’appareil.

4. Fermer la pince pendant quelques secondes pendant que la chaleur effectue
l’ondulation.
5. Appuyer sur le levier pour ouvrir l’appareil et relâcher les cheveux.
Entretien et nettoyage
Cet appareil n’a besoin que de peu d’entretien et ne contient aucune pièce
réparable par l’utilisateur.
NETTOYAGE
1. Débrancher l’appareil à ondulations à trois tubes et laisser refroidir. Nettoyer
que quand il est froid.
2. Utiliser un chiffon doux légèrement humide pour essuyer le Manche.
3. Ne pas laisser pénétrer de l’eau ou tout autre liquide dans le manche.
RANGEMENT
• Débrancher l’appareil et le laisser se refroidir.
• Ranger dans un endroit sec et propre.
• Ne jamais entourer le cordon autour de l’appareil car cela peut l’user
prématurément et le faire casser.
• Ne pas créer de tension sur le cordon là où il entre dans l’appareil car cela
pourrait le faire s’effilocher ou casser.
• Ne jamais pendre l’appareil par le fil électrique.

„Stecken" Sie das Gerät sofort „aus", wenn es ins Wasser fällt. Greifen Sie auf
keinen Fall ins Wasser.

Blockieren Sie auf keinen Fall die Lüftungsschlitze des Geräts bzw. stellen Sie es
auf keine weiche Unterfläche, wie Bett oder Sofa, wo die Lüftungsschlitze
abgedeckt werden könnten. Die Lüftungsschlitze von Fusseln, Haaren und
ähnlichem freihalten.

Dieses Gerät wird bei der Verwendung heiß. Augen und nackte Haut nicht mit
