POLARIZED PLUG (120V Models Only)
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
Note: If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Keep the cord away from hot or heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord
around the appliance.
Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface,
such as a bed, pillow or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep air openings free of lint, hair, etc.
Never use while sleeping or while drowsy.Never drop or insert any object into any opening.Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being
used. Do not operate where oxygen is being administered.
Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.

8. Bring hood forward and release the tilt-control lever.
9. The hood locks and falls into place.
10. To adjust hood height, place one hand on the dryer base, hold the column with the other hand and pull up.
11. The hood has two tilt positions. To adjust, press tilt-control lever and push hood upward. Press tilt-control lever again and pull down the hood.
12. Unit is ready to use. Plug in and turn on.
Warning: Be very careful when using unit for a long period of time as hood and adjustable column might get hot.
13. Use high heat to dry wet hair and switch to lower heat setting as hair dries.
14. For wigs and hairpieces, use the Cool setting to dry synthetic hair and the Low setting for natural hair.
Caution: High heat can damage wigs or hairpieces. TO CLOSE AND STORE YOUR DRYER
1. Grip hood handle, tilt back slightly and press tilt-control lever.
2. Move hood back to the center and down.
How to Use
This product is for household use only. Important: For warranty verification, please do not remove line cord sticker. When you first plug in the unit, you might notice smoke while unit is heating.
This is normal and does not represent any danger to user or defect in the unit. Let unit operate until the smoke dissipates. It should take about 30 seconds.
TO SET UP YOUR DRYER
1. Place dryer on a hard, level surface and at a comfortable height for opening.
2. Press the two bottom side locks firmly, at the same time, until the hood is completely released.
3. Grip handle and lift up the hood.
4. Make sure the bottom part of the column fits into the slot.
5. Tilt hood back and press tilt-control lever.
6. Find the two slots on the side of the column.
7. While still pressing tilt-control lever, move back side of the hood forward over the two slots.

Ne pas mettre ou ranger l’appareil là où il peut tomber ou être tiré dans la baignoire ou le lavabo.
Ne pas mettre ou laisser tomber dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
Si un appareil tombe dans l’eau, ne pas plonger la main dans l’eau. Débrancher immédiatement.
Avertissement - Pour réduire les risques de brûlure, d’électrocution, d’in­cendie ou de blessures à personnes :
Toujours surveiller l’appareil quand il fonctionne ou est branché.
Il est nécessaire de surveiller de près l'utilisation de cet appareil par ou à proximité d'enfants ou de personnes ayant certains handicaps.
N’utiliser cet appareil que pour les usages prévus tells qu’ils sont décrits dans ce manuel. Ne pas utiliser d’accessoires non recommandés par le fabricant.
Ne jamais utiliser cet appareil si le fil ou si la fiche sont endommagés, s’il ne fonctionne pas correctement, s’il est tombé, est endommagé de quelque manière que ce soit ou s’il est tombé dans l’eau. Rapporter l’appareil au centre de reparations le plus proche pour le faire examiner et réparer. On peut aussi appeler le numéro sans frais indiqué sur le devant de ce manuel.
Éloigner le fil électrique des surfaces chaudes ou chauffantes. Ne pas enrouler le fil électrique autour de l’appareil.
Ne jamais bloquer les ouvertures d’air de l’appareil et ne jamais le placer sur une surface molle comme un lit, un coussin ou un divan qui peut bloquer les ouvertures d’air. Enlever peluche, cheveux et autres des ouvertures d’air.
Ne jamais utiliser qu’ on dort ou sommeille.
Ne pas laisser tomber et ne pas introduire d’objet dans une ouverture.
Ne pas s’en servir à l’extérieur ou quand on utilize des produits aérosols. Ne pas utiliser quand on administre de l’oxygène.
Ne pas utiliser de rallonge avec cet appareil.
3. Press the hood down until it locks into place.
Care and Cleaning
This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel
CARING FOR YOUR UNIT
• Important:
1. Never block air-intake grille as it will cause the unit to overheat. Should this happen, a built-in safety system will operate and the unit will start blowing cool air.
2. Turn switch Off and clean any obstruction from air-intake grille.
3. Wait 10 minutes before operating the unit again. If the unit does not work, it might have sustained extensive damage. Do not try to repair it yourself. See warranty for instructions.
To extend the life of the dryer, it is recommended to switch it the coolest
setting for a few seconds before shutting it off.
CLEANING
1. Turn Off unit, unplug and let it cool.
2. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the surfaces. Do not let water or any other liquid get into unit.
3. Clean air-intake grille with a small brush to clear any build-up or lint.
STORAGE
Unplug appliance, let it cool and store in a dry place.
Never store it while hot or still plugged in.
Wind cord securing with a twist fastener wire and place in
cord storage compartment.
Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit,
as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
