Esta unidad es para uso doméstico y puede enchufarse a una toma de
corriente AC. No use ningún otro tipo de toma de corriente.
PRECAUCION: El rodillo de esta tenaza permanece más caliente que el de
las tenazas corrientes para rizar. Debe tomarse mucho más cuidado al

usarse.

• Mantenga la unidad alejada de toda parte de la piel. No toque el rodillo
de la tenaza con la punta de los dedos.

• Para el cabello corto, coloque un peine de plástico entre la tenaza y el
cuero cabelludo para evitar cualquier contacto con el cuero cabelludo.

• Coloque los dedos de la otra mano en la punta de seguridad cuando
necesite mayor control para rizar.

• Antes de usar la tenaza, se recomienda rizar una sección pequeña del
cabello como prueba.

PARA USAR:

Para lograr un estilizado completo, el cabello debe estar limpio, seco y
libre de sucio, rociadores, cremas etc (Claro que la tenaza también puede
usarse para retocar el cabello a cualquier hora.)
PRE-CALIENTE: Coloque la tenaza sobre el soporte de seguridad en una
superficie plana y enchúfela. Encienda la tenaza y permita que se
caliente.
ESTILIZADO: Comience por separar el cabello en mechones de no más de
1 pulgada de gruesos y 2 de anchos.
Mantenga cada mechón de cabello liso cepillándolo o peinándolo
mientras lo sujeta firme de las puntas con la otra mano.
Tome una sección de cabello a la vez, coloque las puntas del cabello
sobre el rodillo con la prensa abierta. Luego, cierre la prensa
asegurándose que las puntas salgan un poco hacia afuera de la prensa.
Sujete la punta de seguridad con la otra mano para facilitar enrollar el
cabello.
Gire el mango de la tenaza con una mano y la punta de seguridad con la
otra para mantener el cabello estirado mientras lo enrolla alrededor del
rodillo caliente. Enrolle el rizo hacia el cuero cabelludo hasta donde
desee con cuidado de no tocar el cuero cabelludo con el rodillo caliente.
Para lograr rizos apretados o para el cabello difícil de rizar, enrolle el
cabello y sujete el rizo en su lugar hasta por unos 20 segundos. Si el
cabello se riza con facilidad o se desea rizos sueltos o un efecto
ondulado, enrolle el cabello por menos tiempo. Para soltar el rizo,
desenrolle media vuelta (para el cabello más largo, desenrolle un poco
más) y oprima hacia abajo el desenganche de la prensa para abrirla. Con
cuidado, retire el rodillo del centro del rizo. Permita que el rizo se enfríe,
y procure no estropearlo mientras riza el resto del cabello.

Una vez que acabe de rizar todo el cabello y los rizos se hayan enfriado
por completo, cepille con cuidado el cabello y estilícelo a su gusto.
CONSEJO PARA ESTILIZAR: Para lograr rizos sueltos hacia arriba, la
prensa debe colocarse por debajo y el rodillo por encima de la sección
del cabello al principio del rizo. Para lograr rizos que se enrollan hacia
adentro, estilo corte de paje, la prensa debe colocarse sobre el rodillo y
el rodillo por debajo de la sección del cabello al principio del rizo.

PRECAUCION: Debido a la capacidad de calentarse de esta tenaza,
el rodillo se pone sumamente caliente y debe tenerse mucho cuidado
al usarse.

COMO USAR

CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA

Esta unidad requiere poco mantenimiento y no contiene partes
reemplazables. No trate de repararla en casa. Si necesita ayuda,
busque la asistencia de personal calificado.

PARA LIMPIAR:

Desconecte la tenaza y permita que se enfríe. La tenaza debe limpiarse
únicamente cuando esté fría. Use un paño suave ligeramente
humedecido para limpiar el mango. No permita que penetre agua ni
ningún otro líquido dentro del mango de la tenaza.

ALMACENAMIENTO:

Desconecte la unidad y deje que se enfríe; guárdela en la caja original de
empaque o en un lugar limpio y seco. Almacene el cable enrollado
holgadamente. Nunca enrolle el cable en la unidad; esto puede
desgastar el cable y romperlo. No aplique presión al área donde el cable
entra al mango para que no se desgaste ni se rompa.

POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). As a safety feature, this plug fits in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug and try
again. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature.

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS

1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.

2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.

3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.

4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion
marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should
