Thermostatic Module

CAUTION: TURN OFF STEAM SUPPLY

1 Remove the cover from the trap.
Then, remove the old thermostatic
element from the trap body. Discard the
old element.

IMPORTANT: After removing the old
element, be sure to remove any scale or
debris from the trap body interior,
especially in the area around the
machined seat.

2 Install the replacement Dura-Stat
Module in the Model 122 trap body by
inserting the module into the machined
seat. Then, place the retainer spring
included with the Dura-Stat Module on
top of the module as shown to the right.

3 Securely (leak tight) re-install the
cover on the trap body, taking care to
ensure that the retainer spring and
module remain squarely in the trap
body. Open the radiator supply valve.
