IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
6. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
8. DO NOT use outdoors.
9. DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
12. Always attach plug to appliance rst, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control dial to “OFF”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
13. DO NOT use appliance for other than intended use.
14. Use extreme caution when removing tray or disposing of hot grease.
15. Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in a Countertop Oven as they may create a re or risk of electric shock.
16. A re may occur if the Countertop Oven is covered or touching ammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
17. DO NOT store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.
18. DO NOT clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts involving a risk of electric shock.
19. Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of other than metal or glass.
20. DO NOT store any materials, other than manufacturers recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
21. DO NOT place any of the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic, etc.
22. DO NOT cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.
23. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
24. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
25. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
26. Place the Countertop Oven at least 2 to 4-inches away from the wall to allow heat ow without causing damage to cabinets and walls.

SAFEGUARDS
CAUTION HOT SURFACES: This appliance generates heat and escaping steam during use. Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, res, or other injury to persons or damage to property.
1. A person who has not read and understood all operating and safety instructions is not qualied to operate this appliance. All users of this appliance must read and understand this owner’s manual before operating or cleaning this appliance.
2. If this appliance falls or accidentally becomes immersed in water, unplug it from the wall outlet immediately. Do not reach into the water!
3. When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and on all sides for air circulation. Do not operate this appliance while it is touching or near curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels or other ammable materials.
4. To reduce the risk of re, do not leave this appliance unattended during use.
5. If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately turn the timer control and temperature control to OFF; remove the plug from the wall outlet. Do not use or attempt to repair a malfunctioning appliance!
6. The cord to this appliance should only be plugged into a 120V AC electrical wall outlet.
7. Do not use this appliance in an unstable position.
NOTES ON THE CORD
The provided short power-supply cord should be used to reduce the risk of entanglement and tripping over a longer cord. Do not use an extension cord with this product.
NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
PLASTICIZER WARNING
To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the nish of the counter top or table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the appliance and the nish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may cause the nish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.

Before using for the rst time
• Remove all protec tive lm, accessories and shipping mate rials packed inside the oven; peel of f clear protec tive lm fro m control pa nel.
• Wash all removable p arts in war m soapy wate r. Wipe the inside of the oven wi th a damp cloth o r sponge. Blot dry wi th paper tow els to be sure t he unit is dry before using.
• Place oven on a at counter or other stable s urface . Place the C ountert op Oven at lea st 2 to 4-inches away from t he wall to allow heat ow with out causin g damage to cabinets and w alls.
DO NOT OPER ATE ON THE SAME CI RCUIT WIT H ANOTHER APP LIANCE.
• Make sure the Crumb Tray is properly installed b elow the lower heating el ements before using .
• Insert rever sible oven rack halfway into lower rack slo t position .
• Lift oven door to bring up the rack hooks, then slide the r ack along the slots until i t engages with thehooks.
IMPORTANT: The rack will not slide forward when the door is open unless it is inside the hooks on the door (Figure 2).
NOTE: The hooks only function when rack is the lower slot.
• Close oven door, notin g that rack s lides comp letely int o oven.
• Select a loca tion where t his unit is to be u sed allowin g enough space b etween t he back of the unit and the wall t o allow heat ow witho ut damage to c abinets and walls.
• Remove tie from co rd and unwind .
• Plug unit into electrical outlet.
NOTE: During rst few minutes of use you may notice smoke and slight odor. This is normal and should cause no concern.
• Before using for the rst tim e, set the Temper ature Dial t o 350°F, the fun ction set ting on BAKE and the timer to 15 minutes without any fo od in oven to burn o ff any oils remained from manufacturing.
IMPORTANT: The oven gets hot when in use. Always use oven mitts or pot holders when touching the outer or inner surface of the oven.
How To Use the Countertop Oven

• Place the oven rack in position that will ac commoda te the height o f the food to be c ooked. Be sure tha t the food is a t least 1 ½ inches away from the upper or lo wer heating elements .
• Set the food on the r ack. Make s ure that you al ways use ovenproof cont ainers, never use plas tic or cardb oard containers in the ov en. Do not put any contain ers direc tly onto the l ower heating elements.
• Never use glass, ceramic pans or contain ers with lids.
• Do not let juices run to the bot tom of the oven. Use the b aking pan and crumb tray when cookin g.
• Turn the Tempera ture Dial to the desired c ooking temperatur e.
• Securely shu t the door and set the cook ing time to beg in operating the oven.
Control Panel
IMPORTANT: When using the timer for less than 10 minutes, turn the dial past the 10 minute mark and then turn back to theappropriate time/ toast browning setting.
Temperature Dial
Turn the Temperature Dial clockwise to the desired setting. The temperature can be set from 150 °F (65 °C) to 450 °F (230 °C). To keep food warm after it has been cooked, set the Function Dial to warm.
FUNCTION DIAL
This oven offers different functions for versatile cooking all in one appliance.
BAKE: Both the upper a nd lower heating elemen ts are operational in this setting.
BROIL: Only the u pper heating element s are opera tional in this set ting. Turn the Temperature Dial to MAX for optimal performance.
TOAS T: The upper and lower he ating elements are operational. Turn the Temp erature Di al to MAX for optimal performance.
BAGEL: Only the upper h eating ele ments are op erational. Turn the Temperat ure Dial to MA X for optimal per formance.
• WARM
Power Indicator Light
The power indicator light will illuminate when the unit is plugged in and the time has been set, or STAY ON has been selected. When the time set has expired, or the Timer Dial has been turned to the OFF position, the power indicator light will turn off.
TIMER/TOAST DIAL
OFF: Turn the Timer Dial to the OFF position when cooking is complete. The power indicator light will go off.
STAY ON: When cooking for more than 30 minutes, or to c ook manually for an unlimite d amount of time, tur n the Timer Dial to STAY ON to turn the Countertop O ven ON. The p ower indicator light will illuminate. NOTE: Br ead may catch re if the toasting time i s setting too long. Close super vision is necessar y during toasting.

0-30 MINUT ES: To begin opera tion, set th e time by turnin g the dial clockwise t o STAY ON or to the desire d cooking time. Cook tim e may be adjus ted during an y cooking c ycle. Turn the Tim er Dial to the desir ed time and continue coo king. When the time set ha s expired, the Timer Dial w ill move to the OFF position, a bell will be heard a nd the Count ertop Oven will automa tically turn OFF. When the Timer Dial is in the OFF p osition, the oven will not operate. NOTE: To set th e timer for less than 10 minute s, always turn the Timer D ial to 10 minutes a nd then rotate back to your ch osen time. T his will ensure an accur ate cooking time.
