When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put
cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is
used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on
or taking off attachments or accessories, and before
cleaning.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or it
is dropped, or has been damaged in any manner.

adjustment.
7. The use of attachments, including canning jars, cups or

CAUTION: Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Use the
blade’s collar to handle.
12. Always completely assemble the blending blade to the
blending tumbler before placing on the motor base.
13. Always completely assemble the grinding blade to the
grinding tumbler before placing on the motor base.

14. This blender is turned ON by placing the tumbler and
the blade assembly into the motor base and turning
clockwise until locked into position. This blender is
turned OFF by twisting the jar and the blade assembly
counterclockwise and unlocking from the motor base.
CAUTION: AVOID CONTACT WITH MOVING PARTS.
15. Never place any NutriRocket tumbler into a microwave
oven with the blade (blending or grinding) still attached.
Carefully remove the blade and attach the shaker lid for
use in the microwave.
16. When microwaving, use caution as hot steam may be
created. Keep face away from steam holes. Always
use an oven mitt to remove hot tumblers from the
microwave.

3. If this appliance begins to malfunction during use,
immediately twist the jar and blade assembly
counterclockwise to unlock from the motor base and
unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to repair the

Notes on the Plug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will
t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t
fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t,
contact a qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in
any way.
Notes on the Cord
The provided short power-supply cord should be used to
reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. Do not use an extension cord
with this product.
Plasticizer Warning
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the
nish of the counter top or table top or other furniture,
place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the
appliance and the nish of the counter top or table top.
Failure to do so may cause the nish to darken; permanent
blemishes may occur or stains can appear.

Before Using for the First Time
Carefully unpack the NutriRocket Personal Blender and remove all packaging
materials. Check the contents to ensure that all attachments and accessories
are present (see Figure 1), and have been received in good condition.
1. Handle the blending blade and the grinding blade attachments by their
collars only. WARNING: Do not touch blades. Blade at tachments are
very sharp. Use extreme care when handling. Failure to do so can result
in personal injury.
2. Wash all lids in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Clean each tumbler before rst use. Fill tumbler 1/4 full with clean,
warm water.
4. Following the steps outlined in the Operating Instructions, pulse several
times using rst the blending blade and then the grinding blade.
Rinse thoroughly.
5. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Operating Instructions
1. Place the motor base on a at,
clean, dry countertop or table.
2. Make sure the unit is unplugged.
3. The NutriRocket Personal
Blender comes with 2 sizes of
processing tumblers. Place the
food to be processed into the
desired tumbler: tall tumbler
(24 oz. /3 cups MAX) or small
tumbler (12 oz. /1.5 cups MAX).
4. To assemble for blending,
chopping, or mixing, using the
blade’s collar to handle, place
the blending (cross) blade into
the tall tumbler.

IMPORTANT: Check to make
sure the tumbler ring is not
attached to the tumbler before
assembling the blade. If it is,
simply lift off to remove.
IMPORTANT: In the base of each
blade’s collar, there is a plastic
gasket seal that creates an
airtight t with the NutriRocket processing tumblers. After dishwashing
and before each use, always check to make sure the gasket is properly
in place, as the heat from some dishwashers may cause the gasket to
become loose.
WARNING: Never operate the NutriRocket Personal Blender when the
processing tumbler is empty.
WARNING: Never overll the processing tumbler. Do not exceed the
MAX line.
6. Hold the tumbler (tall or small) rmly in one hand. Use the other hand to
tighten the tumbler/blade assembly by turning the blade collar clockwise
until snug.
7. Plug the power cord into a 120 V

the tabs into the slots on the

NOTE: The NutriRocket Personal
Blender will not operate unless
the 3 locking tabs on the blade
collar are properly tted into the
3 slots on the motor base.

9. To process, turn the processing tumbler (tall or small) clockwise into
the motor base and press down on the top of the tumbler until locked
in place. The blender will operate.
WARNING: Do not operate the motor continuously for more than
3 minutes at a time. Allow the motor to rest for 3 minutes
before continuing.
10. When processing is completed, turn the tumbler counter-clock wise
in the base and lift to remove the tumbler/blade assembly.
11. Invert the tumbler/blade assembly. Hold the tumbler (tall or small)
rmly in one hand. Use the other hand to turn the blade collar
counter-clockwise and remove the blade from the processing tumbler.
12. Add the tumbler ring to any tumbler to drink fresh juice, blended drinks
or smoothies immediately. Press down to fasten the tumbler ring to any
of the blending tumblers.
13. Add the travel lid (with locking spout) to serve fresh juice, blended
drinks or smoothies. Twist lid clockwise to lock securely onto the tall
tumbler. Flip top over pouring spout and press rmly to lock.
(See Figure 5.) Lock the travel lid to take your smoothie to go or add
the solid lid to store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

14. Unplug the NutriRocket Personal Blender when not in use
and before cleaning.
Food Processing Hints
WARNING: Do not operate the motor continuously for more than 3 minutes at
a time. Allow motor to rest for 3 minutes before continuing.
WARNING: Never overll the processing tumbler. The maximum capacity of
the tall tumbler is 24 oz./3 cups. The maximum capacity of the small cup is 12
oz./1.5 cups.
• For best results, solid foods should not be larger than 1-inch pieces.
Cut or tear food into pieces approximately equal in size before
processing.
• Fasten the shaker lid to either tumbler (tall or small). Use the shaker lid
to serve or pour: bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chocolate,
avored sugars, or coarse spice blends.

• Add the shaker lid to a tall tumbler to cook foods in the microwave
before processing.
WARNING: Never place the NutriRocket tumbler (tall or small) into a
microwave oven with the blade (blending or grinding) attached. Carefully
remove the blade and attach the shaker lid.
WARNING: When microwaving, use caution as hot steam may be created.
Keep face away from steam holes. Always use an oven mitt to remove hot
tumblers from the microwave.
WARNING: Always allow foods to cool at least 1 hour before processing in the
NutriRocket Personal Blender.
Grinding Coffee
Preparing and storing freshly-ground coffee is simple with the NutriRocket
Personal Blender.
1. Add up to 1 cup whole roasted coffee beans to the small tumbler.
If desired, add any other avoring ingredients, such as cinnamon or
vanilla bean.
2. Add the grinding blade.
3. Turn the tumbler clockwise until coffee beans reach desired tex ture.
The coarser the grind, the milder the brew. For espresso grind,
grind until the beans are ground to a ne powder.
4. Add the solid lid to store ground cof fee.
Please use the same instructions if you need to grind nuts or spices.
User Maintenance Instructions
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable
parts. Any servicing requiring disassembly other than cleaning must be
performed by a qualied appliance repair technician.
Care & Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: Never immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water
or any other liquid.
1. Always unplug the NutriRocket Personal Blender before cleaning.
2. Whenever possible, rinse attachments and accessories immediately
after processing to make cleanup easier.
3. Always handle blades using the blade collar.
CAUTION: Use extreme care when handling blades. Do not touch the
blades with your ngers. The blades are very sharp and can cause injur y
if touched.
4. If necessary, use any small nylon bristle brush to remove processed
food from the blade and the blade area.
5. For quick clean-ups, ll processing tumbler (tall or small) one-quarter
full with clean warm water. Following the steps outlined in the Operating
Instructions, blend several times using rst the blending blade and then
the grinding blade. Rinse thoroughly.

6. Remove tumbler rings after use to clean. Wash all lids and tumbler rings
in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Never use rough scouring pads or abrasive cleansers on any
plastic or metal parts as the surface may be damaged.
7. Processing blades, processing tumblers and lids are all top-rack ONLY
dishwasher safe.
IMPORTANT: After dishwashing, always check to make sure the gasket
seal in the base of the blade collar is properly in place, as the heat from
some dishwashers may cause them to become loose.
8. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge.
Dry thoroughly.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Storage Instructions
1. Unplug and clean unit.
2. Store in original box or in a clean, dry place.
3. Never store NutriRocket Personal Blender while it is hot or plugged in.
4. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Never place any stress
on cord, especially where the cord enters the unit, as this could cause
the cord to fray and break.
