metresfromtheentrancepanel.Itmustbewall-mountedontoplasterboard,woodora
similarnon-conductivematerial.

Connectionstothe240VACmainssupplymustbecarriedoutbyaqualifiedelectricianor
similarcompetentperson,andmadeinaccordancewithacceptedsafetypractices.Atwo­poleswitch(asprovidedbyaConsumerUnitorSwitch-Fuse)mustbeincludedtoisolate
bothLiveandNeutralduringInstallationorMaintenance.T hetransformerisprotectedby
fuses;alwaysreplacethesewiththecorrecttypeandrating.

Troubleshooting:

disconnectingalltelephonesandre-connectingasingletelephonewithashortlengthofcable(ROTonly);
Reconnectthetelephonesoneatatimeuntilthefaultre-appears.Note:speechwillbeimpairedifoneor
moretelephonesareleftoffthehook.
