Step 1: Software Setup

Software Setup for Windows 98 SE, Me, 2000, and XP

To instal l the s oftwa re for th e USB A dapte r, follow the instructi ons be low:

Note: The insta llati on process for Windows XP m ay look slightly different from

Wind ows 98 SE, Me, and 2000.

Note: Do not insert the USB Adapte r into the USB port prior to software install ation.

1. Ins ert th e soft ware ins tallation CD-ROM into

the PC’s CD -ROM d rive.

2. The “Soft ware Ins tallShield Wizard” window

appe ars. C lick o n “Nex t” to b egin t he inst allat ion proc ess.

3. Cho ose “I accep t the t erms i n the

lice nse ag re ement ” to ac cept t he lice nse ag re ement . Click on “N ext” to continu e.

4. Spe cify t he loc ation where th e software

file s will be installe d on yo ur hard drive. It is recommended that you inst all the softwa re in the default direc tory “C:\ Program Files \belkin\Bluet ooth\ Soft ware\”. Click on “Ne xt” to conti nue.
