Introduction
Connecting several monitors to a single PC is finally affordable and effective with the new ExpandView™video broadcast box from Belkin.
ExpandView™is a revolutionary breakthrough in the quest for expanding the number of monitors that can be connected to a PC, easily and efficiently.

Hardware Requirements
• One VGA, SVGA or Multisync compatible analog video card with a PC standard high density female DB15 connector

• For each monitor to be extended beyond the length of its attached cable, use Belkin Part# F2N025-06-T, VGA Extension cable.

Overview
Installation of the ExpandView™involves four quick and easy steps to connect four or eight monitors to a single computer video output or extend monitors to distances as much as 200 feet (60.96 meters) from a computer. Simply power on the attached computer and instantly all of the attached monitors receive clear and colorful images.
Connecting each monitor to the ExpandView cables are used. The ExpandView
accepts standard high density DB15 monitor cables for each of the video outputs. For monitors that are at extended distances, connect a Belkin Premium VGA Extension Cable (Part# F2N025-XX) in between the monitor’s cable and the ExpandView
Connecting the computer is also simple–use a Belkin Premium VGA Extension Cable with Thumbscrews (Part# F2N025-XX-T) from the high density DB15 female port on the VGA compatible video card to the high density DB15 male video input port on the ExpandView

Setting Up One ExpandView
The following Belkin cables may be used to connect a computer to the ExpandView

Cascading Multiple ExpandView™s
The ExpandView™may be cascaded to increase the number of monitors that images will be displayed on.
•To cascade ExpandViews the Video Out port of another ExpandView™.
The following Belkin cable may be used to cascade the ExpandView VGA Compatible Monitor Extension Cable with Thumbscrews,

Setting the Gain
The ExpandView™has a slide switch on the bottom of the unit that has two settings: Lo and Hi.
• Lo (default) - Use the Lo setting when the cables being used to connect monitors to the ExpandView the ExpandView™is not being cascaded.
• Hi - Use the Hi setting when the cables being used to connect monitors to the ExpandView™are greater than 25 feet(7.6 meters), or when the ExpandView™is being cascaded with other ExpandViews™. Only use this setting if the Lo setting does not produce clear and colorful images.
