INSTRUCTIONS
Automatic Burettes
Catalog No. 37918 Series
1. Loosen RED thumbscrew on yellow stopcock so that swing arm
moves up and down freely (this will ensure that the solution is not
accidentally dispensed upon filling of Burette).
2. Unscrew cap on reservoir bottle.
3. Remove yellow stopcock device from the neck of the bottle
(this will allow you to easily fill the reservoir bottle).
4. Remove the cap with draw tube from the bottle.
5. Make sure reservoir bottle is well seated in base.
6. Fill bottle with liquid solution to be dispensed.
7. Snap yellow stopcock piece onto neck of reservoir bottle.
8. Replace cap with draw tube and tighten.
9. Squeeze reservoir bottle to fill glass burette to just above
the 0 graduation mark. (The burette will automatically self zero
to the 0 graduation mark)
10. Raise swing arm and turn red thumbscrew clockwise
so it just touches the dispensing button.
11. Place receiving vessel beneath dispensing tip.
12. Continue turning thumbscrew clockwise to begin
and increase dispensing.
13. Turn thumbscrew counter clockwise to stop dispensing
or for quick stop, push down on swing arm.
