Hold pipette as usual and hold the Red
Bulb Pipette in the other hand with the
open end down. Squeeze the bulb and
touch the open end over the top of the
pipette. Release the squeeze on the bulb
Bulb Pipettor
and allow the fluid to rise in the pipette.
Quickly remove the bulb and stop fluid
outflow with your index finger as usual.
May be autoclaved after disassembly.
Allow parts to cool before reassembly.
If any solution is aspirated inside bulb,
take apart bulb and nose, wash, dry and
reassemble by twisting and pushing
nose and bulb together.
