1.1 General safety
•This appliance complies with international safety standards.
•This appliance may be used by children who are at the age of 8 or over and the people whose physical, perceptive or mental skills are impaired or who are inexperienced or not knowledgeable about the appliance as long as they are supervised or informed and made understood the safe use of the appliance and the encountered dangers. Children should not play with the appliance.
•Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children unless they are older than 8 years old and supervised.
•Keep the appliance and its power cable so that they are inaccessible by children under 8 years old.

•Do not use the appliance with an extension cable.
•Prevent damage to the power cable by not
squeezing, bending, or rubbing it on sharp edges.

•Operate and store the appliance on a stable surface.
•Do not attempt to dismantle the appliance.
•Only use the original parts or parts recommended
by the manufacturer.
•Unplug the appliance before cleaning and let it completely dry after cleaning.
•Clean only the outer surface and the plates according to the instructions in the Cleaning and Care chapter.
•The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
•The appliance should not be operated with an external
clock timer or separate remote control system.
•Food items can catch fire due to overheating. Do not allow the appliance to get in contact or be covered with flammable items such as curtains, fabric, wall panels and etc.

This product does not include harmful and prohibited materials specified in the “Regulation for Supervision of the Waste Electric and Electronic Appliances” issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning. Complies with the WEEE Regulation. This
appliance was manufactured from high quality parts and materi­als which are recyclable and re-usable. For this reason, do not dispose of this appliance with the domestic or other types of wastes at the end of its service life. Take it to a collection point which is dedicated to recycling of electric and electronic appliances. Ask the local authority in your area for these collection points. 3 Operation
3.1 Intended use
This appliance is intended only for household use and cooking; it is not suitable for professional use.
3.2 Initial use
Since smoke may be emitted during first use, operate the product with no load and make sure that the room is well-ventilated.

• Both plates of the appliance are equipped with oil flow channels (3).
• Use one oil collection container (9) when the plates are in closed position and two when they are in open position.

3.6 Detaching / attaching the plates

4 Cleaning and care
4.1 Cleaning
1. Set the appliance to " " position and unplug it.
2. Wait for the appliance to cool down completely.
3. Remove the cooking plates (7/8). (see 3.5).
• Use a damp cloth to clean the outer surface of the appliance. Dry off the outer surface thor­oughly.
• You can keep the cooking plates (7/8) in lukewarm water for about 5 minutes and then clean them with some dishwashing liq­uid and a soft sponge.
• You can wipe the inner body sec- tion where plates are attached with a slightly damp cloth.

4.3 Handling and transportation
• During handling and transporta- tion, carry the appliance in its original packaging. The packag­ing of the appliance protects it against physical damages.
• Do not place heavy loads on the appliance or on the packaging. The appliance may get damaged.
• Dropping the appliance may ren- der it non-operational or cause permanent damage.
