FEATURES

This unit is radio-interference suppressed. This product meets the requirements of the current European and national
guidelines. Conformity has been established and the relevant statements and documents have been deposited by the
manufacturer.

 Thisdevice hasbeen designed to produce decorativeeffect lighting andis used in light showsystems.
 Worldstar:projects powerful white lightbeams rotating at lowspeed
 Colorball:projects powerful colored lightbeams rotating at low speed

 Beforeyou start using this unit, please check if there’s no transportation damage. Shouldthere be any, do notuse the

device and consultyour dealer first.

 Important: This device left ourfactory in perfect conditionand well packaged. It is absolutely necessary for the user to

strictly follow the safety instructions and warnings in this user manual. Any damage caused by mishandling is not
subject to warranty. The dealer will not accept responsibility for any resulting defects or problems caused by
disregardingthisuser manual.

 Keep this booklet in a safe placefor futureconsultation. If you sell the fixture,be sure to addthis user manual.

CAUT ION

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within the equilateral triangle is intended to alert the use or the
presence ofun-insulated “dangerous voltage” withinthe product’s enclosure that may be ofsufficientmagnitude
to constitute arisk of electric shock.

The exclamation point within the equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important
operation andmaintenance (servicing)instructions inthe literature accompanyingthis appliance.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electricshock, do not remove the top cover. No user­serviceable partsinside. Refer servicingto qualified servicepersonnel only.

 Don’t place metal objects or spill liquid inside the unit. Electric shock or malfunction may result. If a foreign object

enters the unit,immediately disconnectthe mains power.

 Locate the fixture in a well ventilated spot, away from anyflammable materials and/or liquids. The fixturemust be fixed

at least 50cm fromsurrounding walls.

 Don’t cover any ventilationopenings as this may result inoverheating.
 Prevent use in dusty environments andclean the unitregularly.
 Keep the unit away from children.
 Inexperienced persons should notoperate thisdevice.
 Maximum save ambienttemperatureis 40°C. Don’t usethis unitat higherambient temperatures.
 The units’ surface temperature may reach upto 85°C.Don’t touch the housing withbare hands during its operation.
 Make sure the area belowthe installationplace is free fromunwanted persons during rigging,de-rigging andservicing.
 Allow thedevice about 10 minutes to cooldown beforereplacing the bulbor start servicing.
 Always unplugthe unit when it is not used for a longer time orbefore replacing the bulb or startservicing.
 The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to the regulations for electrical

and mechanicalsafetyin your country.

 Check that the available voltageis not higherthan the one stated on the rear panel ofthe unit.
 The power cord should always be in perfect condition. Switch the unit immediately off when the power cord is

squashed or damaged. Itmust be replacedby the manufacturer,its service agent or similarly qualifiedpersons in order
to avoid a hazard.

 Never letthe power-cord comeinto contactwith other cables!
 This fixturemust be earthed to in order comply withsafety regulations.
 Don’t connect the unit toany dimmer pack.
 Always use an appropriate and certified safetycable when installingthe unit.
 In order to prevent electric shock, do not open the cover. Apart from the lamp and mains fuse there are no user

serviceable partsinside.

 Never repair a fuse or bypass the fuse holder. Always replace a damaged fuse with a fuse of the same type and

electricalspecifications!

 In the event of serious operatingproblems, stop usingthe fixture andcontact your dealerimmediately.
 The housing andthe lenses must bereplaced if they are visibly damaged.
 Please use the originalpacking whenthe device is tobe transported.
 Due to safety reasons it is prohibited to make unauthorizedmodifications tothe unit.

Important: Never look directly into the light source! Don’t use the effect in the presence of persons suffering from
epilepsy.

This symbol determines: the minimum distance from lighted objects. The minimum distance between light­output andthe illuminated surfacemust be more than 1meters.

 To protect the environment, please tryto recyclethe packingmaterialas much as possible.
 A new light effect sometimes causes some unwanted smoke and/or smell. This is normal and disappears after some

minutes.

 To prevent fire or shock hazard,do not expose this appliance to rainor moisture.
 To avoid condensation to be formed inside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when bringing it

into awarm room after transport.Condense sometimesprevents the unit from working atfull performance ormay even
causedamages.

 This unit is forindoor use only.

LAMP (RE)PLACEMENT

In case of replacement of the lamp or maintenance,
do not open the fixture within 15 minutes until the
unit cools down after switching off. Always unplug
the unit before servicing! Always use the same type

parts, please only genuine spare parts.

 Unplug the mains cableto switchoff the unit
 Wait for about 15 minutes untilthe unit has beencooled down.
 Use a screwdriver to unscrew the3 screws ofthe dome. ( A on

the drawing )

 On the inside of the dome youwill see the lamp socket
 Unplug the oldlamp. Hold the lamp socket while unpluggingthe lamp
 Hold the lamp socket while pressing the new lamp gently in the

socket.
Attention! Check the label on the backside of the device or see the
technical specifications in this manual to know whichlamp should be used. Never install lamps with a higher wattage!
Lamps with higher wattage generate temperatures the device was not designed for. If the device uses a lamp
transformer, it will burndue tocurrent overload.

 Don’t touch the bulb with bare hands! Thisdrastically shortens the lifespan of the lamp. If you touched the lamp, clean

it witha cloth and a little denatured alcohol.Wipe the lampoff before installing.

 Close the dome with the3 screws.
 Done!

OVERHEAD RIGGING

 Important: The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper installation can

result in serious injuries and/or damage to property. Overhead rigging requires extensive experience!
Working load limits should be respected, certified installation materials should be used, the installed device
should be inspectedregularly forsafety.

 Make sure the area belowthe installation placeis free from unwantedpersons during rigging,de-rigging and servicing.
 Locate the fixture in a well ventilated spot, far away from any flammable materials and/or liquids. The fixture must be

fixed at least50cm from surrounding walls.

 The device should beinstalled out of reachof people and outsideareas where persons may walk byor be seated.
 Before riggingmake sure thatthe installationarea can hold a minimum pointload of 10timesthe device’s weight.
 Always use a certified safety cable that can hold 12times the weight of the device when installing the unit. This

secondary safety attachment should be installed in a way that no part of the installation can drop more than 20cm if
the mainattachment fails.

 The device should be wellfixed; a free-swingingmountingis dangerous andmay notbe considered!
 Don’t cover any ventilationopenings as thismay result in overheating.
 The operator has to make sure that the safety-relating andmachine-technical installations are approved by an expert

before using themforthe firsttime.The installations should be inspected every year by a skilled person to be sure that
safety is stilloptimal.

MAINTENANCE

 Make sure the areabelow the installationplace is free fromunwanted persons duringservicing.
 Switch offthe unit, unplug the mains cable andwait untilthe unit has been cooled down.

Duringinspection thefollowing pointsshould be checked:

 All screws used forinstalling the device and any of its parts shouldbe tightly fastened andmay not be corroded.
 Housings, fixationsandinstallations spots (ceiling,truss, suspensions)should be totally free from any deformation.
 When an optical lens is visiblydamaged due to cracksor deep scratches, itmust bereplaced.
 The mains cablesmust be in impeccable condition and should be replaced immediately when evena small problemis

detected.

 In order to protect the device from overheat the cooling fans (if any) and ventilation openings should be cleaned

monthly.

 The interior ofthe device should be cleaned annually using avacuum cleaner or air-jet.
 The cleaning of internal and external optical lenses and/or mirrors must be carried out periodically to optimize light

output. Cleaning frequency depends on the environment in which the fixture operates: damp, smoky or particularly
dirty surroundingscan cause greater accumulationof dirt onthe unit’s optics.

 Clean with a soft cloth using normal glass cleaningproducts.
 Always dry the parts carefully.
 Clean the external optics atleast once every 30 days.
 Clean theinternal optics atleast every 90 days.

Attention: We strongly recommend internalcleaning to be carriedout byqualifiedpersonnel!

 Cette unité est destinée à uneutilisationà l’intérieur uniquement.
 Ne pas insérer d’objet métallique ou verser un liquide dans l’appareil. Aucun objet rempli de liquides, tels que des

vases, ne peut être placé sur cet appareil. Risque de choc électrique ou de dysfonctionnement. Si un corps étranger
est introduitdans l’unité, déconnectez immédiatementde la sourced’alimentation.

 Aucune source de flammenue, telle que les bougiesallumées, ne peut être placéesurl'appareil.
 Placez l’appareil dans un endroit bien ventilé, éloigné de tout matériau ou liquide inflammable. L’appareil doit être fixé

à 50cm minimumdes murs.

 Ne pas couvrirles ouvertures de ventilation,un risquede surchauffeen résulterait.
 Ne pas utiliser dans unenvironnement poussiéreux et nettoyez l’unité régulièrement.
 Ne pas laisser l’unitéà portée des enfants.
 Les personnes nonexpérimentées ne doiventpas utiliser cetappareil.
 La température ambiante maximum d’utilisation de l’appareil est de 40°C. Ne pas l’utiliser au-delà de cette

température.

 La température des parois de l’unité peut atteindre 85°C. Ne pas toucher la coque à mains nues en cours de

fonctionnement.

 Assurez-vous que la zone au-dessous du lieu d’installation ne comporte pas de personnes indésirables pendant le

montage,le démontage et lesopérations demaintenance.

 Laissez l’appareil refroidirenviron 10minutes avant deremplacer l’ampouleou d’effectuer des réparations.
 Débranchez toujours l’appareil si vous ne l’utilisez pas de manière prolongée avant de changer une ampoule ou

d’entreprendredes réparations.

 Les installations électriques ne peuvent être faites que par du personnel qualifié et conformément auxrégulations de

sécurité électriqueet mécanique en vigueurdans votre pays.

 Assurez-vous que la tension d’alimentationde la source d’alimentationde la zone dans laquelle vous vous trouvezne

dépassepas celui indiqué à l’arrièrede l’appareil.

 Le cordon d’alimentation doit toujours être en parfait état. Mettez immédiatement l’unité hors tension si le cordon

devait être écrasé ou endommagé. Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique, le cordon doit être remplacé par le
constructeur, sonagent ou un technicien qualifié.

 Ne laissez jamaisle cordon d’alimentationentrer en contact avec d’autrescâbles !
 L’appareil doit êtreà la masse selon les règlesde sécurités.
 Ne pas connecter l’unité à unvariateur de lumière.
 Utilisez toujours les câbles appropriés et certifiéslorsque vousinstallez l’unité.
 Pour éviter tout chocélectrique, ne pas ouvrirl’appareil. En dehors des ampoules et du fusibleprincipal, il n’y a pas de

pièces pouvantêtre changées par l’utilisateur àl’intérieur.

 Ne jamais réparer ou court-circuiter un fusible. Remplacez systématiquement un fusible endommagé par un fusible

de mêmes type etspécificationsélectriques !

 En cas de problèmes de fonctionnement sérieux, arrêtez toute utilisation de l’appareil et contactez votre revendeur

immédiatement.

 La coque et les lentilles doiventêtre remplacées si visiblement endommagées.
 Utilisez l’emballaged’origine si l’appareil doitêtre transporté.
 Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est interdit d’apporter toute modification à l’unité non spécifiquement autorisée par les

partiesresponsables.

 Un nouvel effet lumière peut provoquer de la fumée et/ou une odeur non souhaitée, disparaissant après quelques

minutes.

 Afin d’évitertout risque d’incendie ou de choc électrique,ne pas exposer cet appareil àla pluie oul’humidité.
 Pour éviter la formation de condensation à l’intérieur de l’appareil, patientez quelques minutes pour laisser l’appareil

s’adapter à la température ambiante lorsqu’il arrive dans une pièce chauffée après le transport. La condensation
empêche l’unitéde fonctionner en performance optimale et peut mêmecauser des dommages.
