A new light effect sometimes causes some unwanted smoke and/or smell. This is normal and disappears
aftersomeminutes.
To prevent fireor shock hazard, do not exposethis appliance torain ormoisture.
To avoid condensation to be formed inside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when
bringing it into a warm room after transport. Condense sometimes prevents the unit from working at full
performance or may even causedamages.

Don’t place metalobjects or spill liquid inside the unit. Electric shock or malfunction may result. If a foreign
object enterstheunit, immediatelydisconnectthe mains power.
Locate the fixture in a well ventilated spot, away from any flammable materials and/or liquids. The fixture
must be fixed at least 50cmfrom surrounding walls.
Don’t coverany ventilation openingsasthis may result in overheating.
Prevent use in dusty environmentsand cleantheunit regularly.
Keep the unit away from children.
Inexperienced personsshouldnotoperatethis device.
Maximum save ambienttemperature is 40°C. Don’t use this unitathigher ambienttemperatures.
The units’ surface temperature may reach up to 85°C. Don’t touch the housing with bare hands during its
operation.
Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during rigging, de-rigging
andservicing.
Allow the device about 10 minutes to cooldown before replacing the bulb or startservicing.

The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to the regulations for

Check that the available voltage is not higher than the onestated on the rearpanelofthe unit.
The power cord should alwaysbein perfectcondition: switch the unit immediately offwhen the power cord
is squashed ordamaged.
Never letthepower-cord come into contactwithother cables!

Don’t connect the unitto any dimmer pack.
Always use an appropriateand certifiedsafety cable wheninstalling the unit.
In order to prevent electric shock, do not open the cover. Apartfrom the lamp and mains fuse there are no

LAMP (RE)PLACEMENT
In case of replacement of the lamp or maintenance, do not open the fixture within 10
minutes until the unit cools down after switching off. Always unplug the unit before
servicing! Always use the same type of spare parts (bulbs, fuses, etc.) When replacing
Unplug themains cable.
Wait for about 10 minutes until the unit has
beencooled down.
Unscrew the 2 knobs that close the lamp
compartment.
On the inside you will see the lamp socket.
Tear the lamp socket gently out of the lamp
compartment.
Unplug the old lamp. Hold the lamp socket
while unplugging the lamp instead of pulling
the cable!
Hold the lamp socket while pressing the new
lamp gently in the socket.
Attention! There are 3 different lamp
versions so check the label on the backside
of the device to know which lamp should be
used.
Never install lamps with a higher wattage!
Lamps with higher wattage generate temperatures the device was not designed for. If the device uses a
lamp transformer, it will burn due to current overload.
Don’t touch the bulb with bare hands! This drastically shortens the lifespan of the lamp. If you touched the
lamp, clean it with a cloth and alittledenatured alcohol.Wipe the lampoffbefore installing.
Put the new lampbackinside the unit.Besure thatthewires don’t touch the lamp.
Close thelamp compartment.

OVERHEAD RIGGING
Best installationdistance:
A projection distance of +/- 5 meters from the wall is perfect. From this distance the projection will cover an
area between 2.3m x 2.3m and 3.2m x3.2m, depending on zoom adjustment.
Important: The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper
installation can result in serious injuries and/or damage to property. Overhead rigging requires
extensive experience! Workingload limitsshould be respected, certifiedinstallation materials should
be used, theinstalled device shouldbe inspected regularly for safety.
Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during rigging, de-rigging
andservicing.
Locate the fixture in a well ventilated spot, far away from any flammable materials and/or liquids. The
fixturemust be fixed
The deviceshould be installed out of reachofpeople and outside areas where persons may walk by or be
seated.
Before rigging make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10times the device’s
weight.
Always use a certified safety cable that can hold 12times the weight of the device when installing the unit.
This secondary safety attachment should be installed in a way that no part of the installation can drop
more than 20cmifthe main attachment fails.
The device shouldbewell fixed; a free-swingingmounting is dangerous and maynot beconsidered!
Don’t coverany ventilation openingsasthis may result in overheating.
The operatorhas to make sure that the safety-relating andmachine-technical installations are approvedby
an expert before using them for the first time.The installations should be inspected every year by a skilled
person to be sure that safetyis stilloptimal.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Once connected tothemains the device startsrunning.
Point the projector to thewall and adjust the zoom to obtain the desired projectiondiameter.
Now adjust the focusknob until youget a clear, well defined picture.
Eventually adjust the rotating speedofthe gobo with the potentiometer on the back of the unit (6).
Regular breaks during operation are essential to maximize the life of this device as it is not designed for
continualuse.
Do not switchtheunit on and offin short timeintervals as this reducesthelamp life.
The units’ surface temperaturemay reach up to 85°C. Don’t touch the housing with bare-hands during its
operation.
Always unplug the unit when it is not used fora longer time orbefore replacing the bulb or startservicing.
In the event of serious operating problems,stop using the fixture and contactyour dealer immediately.

MAINTENANCE
Make sure the areabelowthe installation placeisfree from unwanted persons during servicing.
Switch off the unit, unplug the mains cable andwait until the unit has beencooled down.
During inspection the following points shouldbe checked:
All screws used for installing the device and any of its parts should be tightly fastened and may not be
corroded.
Housings, fixations and installations spots (ceiling, truss, suspensions) should be totally free from any
deformation.
When an opticallens is visibly damageddueto cracks or deep scratches,it must be replaced.
The mains cables must be in impeccable condition and should be replaced immediately when even a
small problemis detected.
In order to protect the device from overheat the cooling fans (if any) and ventilation openings should be
cleanedmonthly.
The interiorof the device should be cleanedannually using a vacuumcleaner or air-jet.
The cleaning of internal and external optical lenses and/or mirrors must be carried out periodically to
optimizelightoutput. Cleaning frequency dependsonthe environmentin which the fixtureoperates: damp,
smoky or particularly dirty surroundings can cause greateraccumulationofdirt on the unit’s optics.
Clean withasoft cloth using normalglass cleaning products.
Always dry the parts carefully.
Clean the external opticsat least once every 30 days.
Clean the internaloptics atleastevery 90 days.
Please note that, due to the uv from the lamp, the color of the internal oil wheel degrades afterthe effectis
used for a certain time. In this case, you have to replace the oil wheel. This discoloration of the wheel is
normalandis not subjected to guaranty.
Attention: We strongly recommend internalcleaning tobe carried out by qualified personnel!

Pour éviterlaformation de condensation à l’intérieur de l’appareil, patientez quelques minutes pour laisser
l’appareil s’adapter à la température ambiante lorsqu’il arrive dans une pièce chauffée après le transport.
ATTENTION: afin de réduire le risque d’électrocution, n’enlevez jamais le
couvercle de l’appareil. Il n’y a aucune pièce à l’intérieur de l’appareil que

La condensation empêche l’unité de fonctionner en performance optimale et peut même causer des
dommages.
Cetteunité est destinée à une utilisation à l’intérieuruniquement.
Ne pas insérer d’objet métallique ou verser un liquide dans l’appareil. Aucun objet rempli de liquides, tels
que des vases,ne peut être placé sur cet appareil. Risque dechoc électrique ou de dysfonctionnement. Si
un corps étrangerestintroduit dans l’unité, déconnectezimmédiatement de lasourced’alimentation.
Aucune source de flamme nue,telle que les bougies allumées,ne peutêtreplacée sur l'appareil.
Placez l’appareil dans un endroit bien ventilé, éloigné de tout matériau ou liquide inflammable. L’appareil
doit être fixé à 50cmminimum des murs.
Nepascouvrirles ouvertures de ventilation,unrisquedesurchauffeen résulterait.

si le cordonestécrasé ou endommagé.
Ne laissezjamaisle cordond’alimentationentrer en contactavecd’autres câbles !
L’appareildoit être à la masseselon lesrègles desécurités.
Nepasconnecter l’unité à un variateur delumière.
Utiliseztoujours les câbles appropriés etcertifiés lorsque vous installezl’unité.
Pour éviter tout choc électrique, ne pas ouvrir l’appareil. En dehors des ampoules et du fusible principal,il
n’y a pasdepièces pouvantêtre changées par l’utilisateur àl’intérieur.
Nejamais réparer ou court-circuiterun fusible.Remplacez systématiquement un fusible endommagépar
un fusible de mêmestype et spécificationsélectriques !
En cas de problèmes de fonctionnement sérieux, arrêtez toute utilisation de l’appareil et contactez votre
revendeurimmédiatement.
La coqueetles lentilles doiventêtreremplacées si visiblement endommagées.
Utilisezl’emballage d’origine si l’appareil doitêtretransporté.
Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est interdit d’apporter toute modification à l’unité non spécifiquement

MISE EN PLACE / REMPLACEMENT DES AMPOULES
En cas d’opération de maintenance ou de remplacement des ampoules, ne pas ouvrir
l’installation dans les 10 minutes suivant la fin de l’utilisation jusqu’à ce que l’appareil
ait refroidi. Débranchez systématiquement l’unité avant toute opération de
maintenance. Utilisez toujours le même type de pièces (ampoules, fusibles, etc.) Lors
