IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

1. Do not let power cords touch hot surfaces.

2. Do not mount near gas or electric heaters.

3. Equipment should be mounted in locations and at heights where unauthorized personnel will not readily subject it to tampering.

4. The use of accessory equipment not recommended by Beluce Canada Inc., may cause an unsafe condition, and will void the warranty.

5. Do not use this equipment for other than its intended purpose.

6. Servicing of this equipment should be performed by qualified service personnel.

7. Mounting options differ for different power ratings.

TYPICAL INSTALLATION

Wiring Diagram for Vista Series

Knuckle Mounting (for 15, 30 & 50W)

1. Pass the three wires through the rubber mat; ( figure 1.1)

2. Match the hole of the rubber mat with the bracket, pass the wires through and fasten with screws (Take
care not to damage the wires); (figure 1.2)

3. Pass the wires through from the other bracket and fasten it with screws. (Take care not to damage the
wire); (figure 1.3)

4. Finish the wire connection (pay attention to the live, neutral and ground wires), and then put wire into
luminaire pole; (figure 1.5)

5. Loosen screws; Adjust luminaire angle as required and tighten the screws.

U-Bracket Mounting

1. Pass the wires through the bracket hole;

2. Attach the luminaire and bracket together with screws;
(Take care not to damage the wires) (figure 2.2)

3. Attach the other bracket with screws (figure 2.3)

4. Finish the wire connection (pay attention to the live wire, neutral wire, and ground wire), and then put wires
into weatherproof j-box (by others).

5. Loosen screws; Adjust luminaire angle as required and tighten screws. (figure 2.5)

Slipfitter for pole mounting (for all Vista Plus models)

1. Separate the bracket with a screwdriver. (figure 4.1, A.)

2. Put input wire of the light through the bracket. (figure 4.2, A.)

3. Thread the input wire through the bracket (figure 4.1, B.) and reassemble the bracket (figure 4.3)

4. Adjust the luminaire as required and tighten screws.

U-Bracket Mounting (for Vista Plus models)

1. Put the input wire of the light through the bracket. (figure 5.1)

2. Set the bracket and tighten the screws. (figure 5.2)

Yoke Mounting (for Vista Plus models)

1. Remove the side; feed the input wire through the back housing (Option A) or the side cover (Option B) of
the light, then attach the side cover and tighten the screws. Attach the bracket to the fixture. (figure 6.1)
