Connect the 25 ft. control cable to socket on the
6
left side of the control console. Tighten screws to secure cable to control console.
Plug 8 ft. power cable into a standard wall outlet.
7
An extension cord may be used.
If the power cable is not attached to the bottom of
5w

Screw antenna into the right side of the control
6w
console. Plug the “barrel” end of the transformer into the left side of the console.
Plug display power cable and the control console
7w
transformer cable into standard wall outlets. Extension cords may be required to reach outlets.
Place connection cables in a location away from
high-traffic areas. Tape down loose cables in all traffic areas.
The scoreboard may not function correctly if it
receives a strong static shock. Take care when using the scoreboard on high-static surfaces such as artificial grass or carpet.
Control console and display module contain
delicate electronic components; do not drop, bang into walls, doors, etc. as damage to your equipment may result.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Control Console
Match Time & Period Display
Score Display
Riding (Advantage) Injury Time Display
Match Number Team Score Display
The SS-3300/SS-3200 control console is used for all scoreboard operations. Certain buttons perform more than one function while some buttons are disabled during specific events. It is important to be aware of these relationships for effective use of the scoreboard. A Quick-Start instruction label is located on the back side of the console. Use this for an immediate reference on the functions of the console.
Match time (0:00–99:99) is the primary timing function. Current period is indicated by 4 LEDs above the match time display.
Score (0–99) displays the points awarded to each player. Red and green digits distinguish each player.
The secondary timer (0:00-9:59) has two modes: riding (advantage) timer and injury timer. The console indicates which mode is currently in use by illuminating ADV or INJ in red above the timer display. In injury mode (INJ), the green and red indicators next to the timer will flash to indicate which player’s injury time is displayed. In riding mode (ADV), the green and red indicators will be solid to indicate which player has the control advantage.
Match number (0–9999) display can show the match or bout number in progress. Using the supplied static color overlays, the display can alternately be used to show team score.

TUTORIALS
How Do I Reset the Scoreboard To Start A New Match?
How Do I Set Unique Match Times For Each Period?
The scoreboard can easily be reset to start a new match. Press and hold the CLR (RESET) button for 3 seconds - both scores will reset to zero, the advantage/injury timer will reset to zero, and the match number will clear. The match timer will reload for the first period. Match time presets for all four
periods are saved and will not be affected by starting a new match.
A match cannot be reset while any display is currently being set. Press ENT to exit set mode and then press and hold CLR to reset match.
It is suggested that the match period lengths be set before a match begins. For detailed instructions on setting the match timer, see page 4.
Example Desired match period lengths: Period 1 - 4:00,
Period 2 - 3:00, Period 3 - 3:00, Period 4 - 2:00
1. Press PERIOD button until period 1 is selected.
2. Set the match time to 4:00 and press ENT.
3. Select period 2.
4. Set the match time to 3:00 and press ENT.
5. Select period 3.
6. Set the match time to 3:00 and press ENT.

8. Set the match time to 2:00 and press ENT.
If the match timer has not been started for any period, press the PERIOD button to toggle through periods and display each unique preset match time.
How Can I Start A Period With A Player In Advantage?
10
The SS-3300/SS-3200 can be set with one player in advantage at the start of a period.
1. Press MODE button to set the advantage mode.
2. With the match timer stopped, press HOME or
GUEST button to put the advantage timer in “standby”. (The ADV light on the controller will blink to indicate this standby position).
3. The advantage timer will automatically start when
RUN/STOP button is pressed to start match timer.
How Can I Run Both Players’ Injury Timer Simultaneously?
The SS-3300/SS-3200 can run both players’ injury timer simultaneously and alternate the display to show both timers. See section on running injury timer on page 7 for instructions on how to use injury timer.
Example Display, then start the Home (green) player’s injury timer:
Green indicator will flash to show that the
Home player’s injury time is currently on the display.
Amber time digits will count up to show
elapsed Home injury time.
Display, then start the Guest (red) player’s injury timer without stopping Home (green) player’s injury timer:
Red indicator will immediately begin to flash
to show that the Guest player’s injury time is currently on the display.
Amber time digits will count up to show
elapsed Guest injury time.
The display will now alternate every 5 seconds between the green and red player’s injury time. This alternating display will continue until either injury timer is stopped.
NOTE: When running injury timers simultaneously, it is important to know that only the active (currently displayed) timer can be started or stopped. For example, if the Guest (red) player’s injury time is currently displayed but the Home (green) player’s injury timer should be stopped, the display for the green player must first be activated (displayed) by pressing the HOME button. Once the display has changed and the green indicator is flashing, then press the HOME button again to stop the green injury timer.
