Sidewall Installation
1. Disconnect electrical power supply to your trailer
(if equipped).
2. Remove any electrical switches, outlets, brackets, shelving... etc located in the surface areas to be covered with TrailerWare material.
3. Measure 48” up from the floor in several places along the
sidewall and mark with a pencil. Use pencil marks as a guide to snap a chalk line at the 48’ height. (FIGURE 1)
4. Remove any factory trim that may interfere with installing the aluminum rails or wall covering. This will ensure the aluminum trim will be able to be mounted flat against the wall. (FIGURE 2)
Note: In some installations, it may be necessary to remove the entire factory trim piece, cut with a saw at the chalk line, and reinstall later above TrailerWare wall covering.
5. Install the aluminum trim rails below the chalk line, with the
screws provided. The channel must be installed with the open side down, and the long flange flat against the wall.
(FIGURE 3)
Note: Trim Rails can be cut, as necessary, to install around switches
and other trailer features. (below)
