La silla TWIST BE COOL con sistema Isofix ha
sido homologada para un uso semiuniversal, y
es apta para su colocación en asientos especí­ficos de automóvil.
El apéndice LISTADO DE AUTOMÓVILES in­cluye los automóviles y asientos de automóvil
que han sido autorizados para poder utilizar la
silla TWIST con sistema Isofix junto a una pata
de soporte.

PRECAUCIÓN:
Lea detenidamente las instrucciones corres­pondientes al uso de los sistemas de reten­ción infantiles que se incluyen en el manual de
usuario de su automóvil.
En caso de que su automóvil no se encuentre
en la lista, compruebe que la silla TWIST pue­de colocarse adecuadamente en el asiento
que desee de su automóvil antes de adquirirla.
Lea el manual de usuario proporcionado por el
fabricante de su automóvil y las instrucciones
de seguridad y montaje que se incluyen en el
manual de usuario de la silla TWIST.

Asientos de vehículo autorizados para el uso
del sistema ISOFIX junto a una pata de sopor­te. Antes de adquirir el producto compruebe
que su automóvil está equipado con un siste­ma de anclaje ISOFIX. El AIRBAG del asiento
del pasajero debe estar desactivado y la silla
bloqueada en su posición más elevada y lo
más atrás posible.

The BE COOL TWIST with ISOFIX system has
been approved for‚semi-universal‘ use, and
is suitable for mounting on specific vehicle
seats.
This appendix entitled CAR FITTING LIST
contains an overview of vehicles and vehicle
seats that have been approved for the use of
the TWIST with ISOFIX system in connection
with a support leg.

CAUTION!
Please read instructions regarding the use of
child safety restraints contained in the user
manual for your vehicle.
Should your vehicle not be listed here,
please ensure that the TWIST can be
properly mounted in your car/on the desired
seat before you purchase the child seat!
Read the user manual provided by the manu­facturer of your vehicle and the mounting
and security notices contained in this user
manual for the TWIST.

ADVERTENCIA

• Lea las instrucciones correspondientes al transporte de niños que se incluyen
en el manual de usuario de su automóvil. Tenga en cuenta, especialmente, la
información relativa al uso de las sillas de seguridad infantiles y su interacción
con los airbags.

• Advertencia

• En ocasiones los niños llevan pequeños objetos (p. ej. juguetes) en los bolsillos

rígidas (p.ej. hebillas).

• Compruebe que esos objetos no intereren a la hora de sujetar al niño con
el arnés de seguridad ya que podría provocar lesiones en caso de accidente.
Esta advertencia también es aplicable a los adultos.

• Los niños pequeños tienden a ser enérgicos. Explíqueles la importancia de
la seguridad dentro de un automóvil. De esta forma, el niño entenderá que
la hebilla del arnés no debe abrirse y tampoco debe quitarse el arnés; y usted
estará más tranquilo.

• La seguridad del niño se garantiza únicamente cuando el sistema de seguri­ dad está instalado conforme a lo indicado en el manual de instrucciones.

• Las cintas del arnés no deben estar retorcidas y deben permanecer tirantes
y protegidas contra posibles daños.

• Para evitar quemaduras, proteja de la luz solar directa todas las piezas del
sistema de retención que no estén cubiertas por ningún tejido.

• El sistema de retención infantil no debe estar dañado ni verse obstruido por
las partes móviles del coche ni de sus puertas.

• No modique el sistema de retención ya que podría poner en peligro la
seguridad del niño.

• Después de un accidente, el sistema de retención al completo debe ser sus
tituido o ser enviado al fabricante, junto a un informe del accidente, para que
se evalúen los daños.

• Enseñe a los demás pasajeros cómo sacar al niño de la silla de seguridad en
caso de accidente u otro peligro.

• Los cinturones abdominales del sistema de retención deben ajustarse en la
zona más baja posible para que la cadera del niño se sujete correctamente.

• La silla de seguridad no debe utilizarse en asientos con airbag frontal activado
(Conlleva un peligro para la vida)

• No deje al niño en la silla de seguridad sin supervisión, tanto si lleva el
arnés como si no.

• Compruebe que el equipaje y cualquier elemento suelto están bien suje­tos para reducir el riesgo de lesiones en caso de accidente.

• Guarde siempre el manual junto a la silla de seguridad.

• El uso de accesorios y piezas de repuesto esta prohibido, por lo que la
garantía podría perder su validez y cualquier reclamación se consideraría
inválida.

• La silla de seguridad infantil debe utilizarse con las cubiertas originales.

• Si el sistema de retención se usa durante un largo periodo de tiempo, es
normal que las cubiertas y otra partes sufran desgaste, dependiendo de
la duración e intensidad de uso. En ese caso deberán sustituirse. No es
posible obtener una garantía de más de 6 meses para las piezas que pre­senten desgaste en sus tejidos.

• Póngase en contacto con un establecimiento especializado en productos
infantiles, el departamento correspondiente de unos grandes almacenes
o una empresa de catálogos para la sustitución de cualquier pieza. Le
mostrarán una completa oferta de accesorios para la silla de seguridad de
Be Cool entre los que elegir.

• La silla de seguridad infantil TWIST Be Cool se ha probado en simulaciones
de colisiones de hasta 50 km/h contra obstáculos sólidos. Los resultados
de las pruebas cumplen la normativa internacional ECE R44.04, aplicable
a los sistemas de seguridad para sillas infantiles. Si se utilizan de la forma
prevista y siguiendo las instrucciones de instalación y funcionamiento, la
silla de seguridad debería evitar o minimizar las lesiones de un niño de
hasta 18 kg en caso de accidente, dependiendo del tipo y gravedad del
accidente.

• Un producto de seguridad infantil no sustituye el comportamiento pru­dente y responsable al volante.

WARNINGS

• Make sure you observe the relevant instructions in the user manual of
your vehicle before transporting children. Take particular note of all in­formation provided for the use of child seats in connection with airbags.

• Warning!

• Children often carry small objects (e.g.toys) in jacket or trouser pockets,
and may also wear clothes with rigid components (e.g. belt buckle).

• Make sure that these objects are not clamped be tween the child and the
safety harness, as this might cause unnecessary injuries in case of an ac­cident. The same hazards also apply for adults.

• Naturally young children are often lively. Make sure to explain the im­portance of safety when in a vehicle. Your child will then understand that
the harness lock should not be opened and the harness should not be
removed, giving you more peace of mind.

• Your child’s safety can only be guaranteed if the safety system is installed
and used in accordance with the instruction manual.

• All system harness straps must be worn taut and without any twists, and
must be protected from demage.

• Protect any parts of the restraint system not covered with fabric against
direct sunlight to prevent your child from suffering burns.

• The child restraint system must not be damaged or crushed by moving
parts in the vehicle or by the vehicle doors.

• Do not attempt any modications to the restraint system as they might
endanger your child’s safety.

• After an accident, the entire child restraint system must be replaced or
sent to the manufacturer for testing, along with an accident report.

• Make sure to instruct your passenger on how to remove the child from its
safety seat in case of an accident or danger.

• The lap belts of the harness system must be tted as low down as pos­sible so that the child’s hips are held correctly.

• The child seat must not be used on seats with activated front airbags.

• Never leave your child unsupervised in the car seat – whether harnessed
or not.

• Make sure you secure any luggage and loose items to reduce the risk of
injury in case of an accident.

• The manual must always be carried with the child safety seat.

• The use of any accessories or replacement parts is prohibited, and non­compliance with result in the lapse of all warranty and liability claims.

• The child safety seat is to be used with original se at covers only.

• If the restraint system is used extensively it is normal for the seat covers
and other parts to suffer varying degrees of wear, depending on the dura­tion and intensity of use, and they will then have to be replaced. We can
therefore not provided any blanket warranty beyond 6 months for wear
parts.

• Please contact your specialists shop for baby and children’s products and
the relevant section of department stores, your car accessory specialist
shop or a catalogue company for re placement parts. They will have a
complete product portfolio for Be Cool child seat accessories to choose
from.

• The child seat TWIST Be Cool has been tested in crash simulations for im­pacts of up to 50 km/h agai nst a solid obstacle. Test results are compliant
with the international test standard ECE R44.04, which is applicable for all
tested child safety seat systems. When used as intended and in compli­ance with the installation and ope rating instructions, the child safety seat
should prevent or minimize injuries to children up to a body weight of 18kg
in case of an accident, depending on the type and severity of accident.

• A child safety device does not replace responsible and careful behavior in
road trafc.
