Video Intercom Systems (Cat-5)
Congratulations on your new Video Intercom System! At BEC Integrated Solutions, we are proud to provide secure, reliable solutions for your home or business. This manual is to help to answer any operational questions
you might have throughout your system’s lifetime.
Door Entry
The door panel included with your system should have been installed and programmed to ring upon entering an apartment/unit number using the pin-pad (Ex. 101, 203, etc.). Once entered, the unit will ring until answered at the respective room station. When answered, speak as you would normally.
By default the call time is 45 seconds. Press any button to extend the call length.
The person at the indoor station may press the unlock key during the call to
grant entry. Press the ‘#’ sign to cancel a call or any action at any
time.
To gain entry to the building using the RF Reader, swipe the key fob or key card given by the owner in front of the reader and the door will click open.
To gain entry to the building using the Public Access Code (provided by the installer/owner) Press 9* then enter the public password (by default the code is 8888) (Ex. 9* 8888)
To gain entry to the building using the Residential Access Code (provided by the installer/owner, this code
can
be changed) Press 8*, enter the room number, then the

If your system includes the optional Picture Memory room station, there are 5 buttons (Menu, Up, Down, Left, Right) on the side of the panel for controlling the On-Screen Display. With this feature, the panel will take one still image for each call that is received at that station. While the display is active, you can scroll through past images using the controls. You may also adjust settings (date/time, display settings,
etc.) using the on screen menu.
