Features
· For cameras with LanC oder Cam Remote Protocol.
· Stepless zoom speed control

Cam Remote/LanC
· Set the switch at the bottom side of the Zoe Housing to:
L Position for LanC
X Position for Cam Remote
Cam Remote
· The different LED´s have no function in Cam Remote Mode
· RECORD button: Single click starts/ends the recording when the main switch on the
camcorder is set to “Camcorder

LanC – LED Display
· Green LED:
- Off: The camera is switched off or the ZOE isn´t connected
- Fast flash: The camera has just been switched on, software is being booted. The ZOE is
calibrating (do not move the rocker in this phase).
-Slow flash: Camera battery end warning
· Red LED:
- Off: The camera is not recording
- On: the camera is recording
- Flash: No tape in the camera/tape end warning
· Yellow LED:
- Off: The rocker on the ZOE is set to Zoom control. The Camcorder is set to Manual Focus
- Flash: The rocker on the ZOE is set to Focus control. The Camcorder is set to Manual
Focus
- On: The rocker on the ZOE is set to Zoom control. The Camcorder is set to Auto Focus
Lanc functions:
· ON/Off button:
- Single Click switches the camcorder On/Off when the main switch of the camcorder is set
to “camera”
· RECORD button:
- Single click starts or ends the recording when the main switch on the camcorder is set to
"Camera" and the green LED is on.
- Makes the camera take a photo when the main switch on the camcorder is set to "Photo"
and the green LED is on.
· FOCUS button:
- Single click activates manual focus mode, no matter whether the camera is presently in
manual or in "Auto Focus" mode. The rocker on the ZOE is set to Focus control. The
yellow LED blinks slowly.
- Further single click sets the rocker back to Zoom Control. The camera stays in manual
focus mode.
· ADITIONAL FUNCTIONS SONY CAMERAS AND
· CANON XM2 ONLY
· Double click (for Sony camcorders and Canon XM2 only) switches the camcorder between
auto and manual Focus
· Long push operates the "Push Auto"- function of the camcorder.

not been instructed in the use!
· Keep the ZOE dry and do not immerse in water.
· Do not attempt to open or repair the ZOE. Contact your dealer for help if it becomes defective.
· Handle with care! Do not throw! Do not drop!
