Important Safety Instructions
Keep the unit away from heat sources, direct
sunlight, humidity, water and any other liquids. Do
not operate the unit if it has been exposed to water,
moisture or any other liquids to prevent against
electric shock, explosion and/or injury to yourself
and damage to the unit. Do not use the unit if it has
been dropped or damag ed in any way. Repairs to
electrical equipment should only be performed by
qualified staff. Improper repairs may place the user
to serious risk. Do not use the unit with wet hands.
Do not put objects into any of the openings. Keep
the unit free from dust, lint etc. Do not use this unit
for anything other than its intended use. Keep the
unit out of reach of small children. This product is
not a toy. Do not use chemical cleaning solvents to
clean. Do not open the device. For cleaning only use
soft and dry cloth.
Getting Started
Unpack the Bluetooth speaker & accessories.
Remove all packaging from the Bluetooth speaker.
Check if the box and accessories is not damaged.

Player
Charging
Power off the device. Connect the USB charging
cable with a USB net adaptor or USB computer
socket. Connect the opposite side of charging cable
with DC/5V input socket. During charging the LED
indicator light will show red light. When the device is
fully charged, the LED turns off. Charging will take 45 hrs. After charging disconnect the loading cable.
Operation Modes
After the battery is fully charged power on the
device with ON/OFF switch. By pressing mode
button you can navigate through different speaker
modes. (LINE Bluetooth FM Radio USB). If
there is no audio cable connected to AUX socket you
cannot chose LINE mode. If there is no USB storage
device or SD card you cannot switch to USB/SD
player mode.
Controls and operation
Press Pause/Play button to control music playback.
Long press VOL+ button to increase the volume,
VOL- button to decrease the volume. Volume level
will be displayed from U00 to U32. Short press
“NEXT” button to play next track, short press “PREV”
button to pla y previous track. With “BASS +/-“
control you can adjust the bass (subwoofer) volume.
Bluetooth pairing
Turn power switch to “ON” position, with mode
button you can select Bluetooth mode, “blue” is
flashing on the display. After the speaker signals a
tone the device is ready to pair. For first time pairing
turn on B luetooth mode on your smartphone or
Bluetooth player. Scan for Bluetooth devices.
Connect with “BS-40BT” device. The device will
confirm connection with a signal tone.
Start to play music on your smartphone or Bluetooth
player. With the play and volume controls you can
control the playback. Y ou can use the control
functions on your Bluetooth device as well. With
power on/off switch you can switch off the device
after use. This will safe battery energy. The working
time of the battery depends on playing volume.
LINE In (AUX In) Function
With the speaker powered on, connect the AUX in
jack with the included 3.5mm stereo cable and your
external audio device (smartphone, CD or MP3
player). Press the mode button until “LINE
AUX
” is
shown on the display. Use play/pause/stop buttons
on your external audio player to control music play.
With volume controls you can control overall volume
level (see above). Disconnect the Auxiliary cable
when finished.
FM Radio Mode
Selecting FM Radio Mode by pressing the mode
button until frequency and “FM” is shown on the
display. Pull out the FM antenna completely. Long
press the play/pause button to start the automatic
search for radio stations. All detected stations are
stored from P01 to Pxx. With NEXT (track) and PREV
buttons you can navigate through the stations which
are in storage.
USB device / SD card
Insert a USB storage device (USB stick) or SD card in
USB socket or card slot. Select the USB mode. The
number of the actual track is shown on the display
e.g. 0001 after 1sec the display will show the elapsed
time of the track. The player can play music files in
MP3 format. Please take care that the files are
stored in the main root of the device. No folders are
allowed to be on the storage device.
Please Note
Not all mobile phones support all the functions listed
above. Please refer to your mobile phones user
manual for further information.
IR Remote control
Many of the control f unctions you can operate by
using the IR remote control. Please hold the remote
control in direction o f the LCD display. Play, Pause,
Mode, VOL +/- functions are same like description
above. By short press on EQ button you can select 7
EQ presets (E0 to E6). In FM mode you can use CH
+/- buttons to manually select FM radio frequency.
With numeric buttons and ENTER key you can select
a radio frequency directly.

ersten Einschalten sorgfältig durch.
Sicherheitshinweise
Setzen Sie das Gerät k einen Wärmequellen wie
Herd, Heizung oder direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aus.
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit sowie
Staub und Schmutz. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht
mehr wenn es offensichtlich beschädigt ist oder
herunter gefallen ist. Reparaturen dürfen nur von
Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden. Benutzen Sie
das Gerät nicht mit feuchten Händen, stecken Sie
keine Gegenstände (Nadeln, Kugelschreiber, etc.) in
die Öffnungen an Gehäuse/Stecker. Benutzen Sie
das Gerät nur wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben.
Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug, halten Sie es von
kleinen Kindern fern. Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht. Zur
Reinigung verwenden Sie nur ein weiches, trockenes
und fuselfreies Tuch.
Erstes Einschalten
Nehmen Sie den BT-Lautsprecher aus der P ackung
und entfernen Sie alle Verpackungsteile. Prüfen Sie
den Packungsinhalt auf Vollständigkeit und
eventuelle Beschädigungen.

Akku Aufladen
Schalten Sie das Gerät mit Schalter On/Off aus.
Verbinden Sie den DC/5V Eingang mit dem
Ladekabel mit einem PC, USB-Netzteil oder
geeignetem USB Anschluss mit 5V Versorgungsspannung. Während des Ladevorgangs leuchtet die
Status-LED im Display rot, wenn der interne Akku
vollständig geladen ist erlischt diese. Der
Ladevorgang ist bei vollständig entladenem Akku
nach ca. 4-5h abgeschlossen, entfernen Sie danach
das Ladekabel. Die Laufzeit des Akkus hängt stark
vom Lautstärkepegel beim Abspielen ab.
Bedienelemente
Mit der Pause/Play Taste können Sie das Abspielen
der Musikstücke (Tracks) im Bluetooth und USB
Modus starten bzw. anhalten. Mit den Tasten für die
Lautstärke (VOL+) und (VOL-) können Sie die
Lautstärke durch langen Tastendruck erhöhen und
absenken. Durch kurzen Tastendruck können sie den
vorherigen bzw. nächsten Musiktitel auswählen. Mit
dem Regler “BASS +/-“ können Sie den Anteil des
Subwoofers (am Boden des Geräts) beeinflussen und
die Basswiedergabe erhöhen/absenken.
Bluetooth Verbindung
Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem Ein/Ausschalter ein.
Wählen Sie mit der Taste Mode die Betriebsart
Bluetooth „blue“. Der Lautsprecher meldet mit
einem Signalton die Bereitschaft per Bluetooth eine
Verbindung aufzubauen. Wurden mit einem
Bluetooth-Gerät schon vorher einmal eine
Verbindung aufgebaut, baut sich diese wieder auf.
Bei der ersten Verwendung schalten sie auf Ihrem
Smartphone oder Bluetooth-Player die Bluetooth
Funktion ein und aktivieren Sie die Suchfunktion. Das
Gerät meldet sich mit “BS -40BT”. Stellen Sie die
Verbindung her. Beachten Sie zur Kopplung auch das
Handbuch Ihres Bluetooth-Gerätes. Mit den
Bedientasten Pause/Play sowie Prev/Next können
Sie das Abspielen der Musikstücke steuern. Parallel
hierzu können Sie die Bluetooth Steuerfunktionen
auf Ihrem P layer oder d ie IR Fernbedienung
verwenden.
Betriebsarten
Mit der Taste Mode können Sie durch Tastendruck
durch die Betriebsarten (Aux-In Bluetooth
USB/SD FM Radio) wechseln. Achtung: für Line-In
muss das Audiokabel mit einem Abspielgerät
angeschlossen sein, für USB/SD Betrieb muss ein
Speichermedium eingesteckt sein.
USB Speicherstick / SD-Card
Führen Sie einen USB-Speicherstick oder eine Micro
SD-Card in den dafür vorgesehenen Slot. Der Player
kann Musikstücke im MP3 Format abspielen. Die
Dateien müssen im Hauptverzeichnis stehen, Folder
werden nicht unterstützt. Wählen Sie Betriebsart
USB. Mit den Tasten Play/Pause, etc. kontrollieren
sie das Abspielen wie oben beschrieben.
AUX-IN / Line-In Betriebsart
Verbinden Sie das Audiokabel mit der AUX Buchse
und Ihrem Abspielgerät (Audioquelle). Drücken Sie
die Taste Mode für Betriebsart so lange bis am
Display “LINE
AUX
” angezeigt wird. Sie können nun
das Abspielen Ihrer Musik am Audiogerät starten.
Dort stellen Si e auch die Abspiellautstärke ein. Dazu
überlagernd arbeitet die Lautstärkeeinstellung am
BS-40BT mit den Tasten (VOL+) und (VOL-).
FM Radio
Bevor sie d ie Betriebsart F M Radio Mode anwählen,
ziehen Sie die Empfangsantenne vollständig aus.
Wechseln Sie in Betriebsart FM-Radio. Durch langen
Tastendruck auf die Play/Pause Taste starten Sie den
Sendersuchlauf. Die Stationen werden auf internen
Platzen P01 bis Pxx abgespeichert. Mit den Tasten
“NEXT“ und “PREV” können Sie die gespeicherten
Radiostationen anschließend manuell auswählen.
IR Fernbedienug
Die meisten Bedienungsfunktionen können Sie auch
mit der IR Fernbedienung ausführen. Legen Sie eine
volle Batterie in die Fernbedienung ein und richten
Sie diese auf das Display. Play/Pause, Mode, VOL +/wie oben beschrieben. Mit dem EQ Taster können
sie 7 EQ Voreinstellungen (E0 bis E6) anwählen um
den Sound zu beeinflussen. Im FM Radio Mode kann
mit den Tasten CH +/- die Empfangsfrequenz
manuell eingestellt werden. Mit den numerischen
Tasten und der E NTER-Taste können Sie eine
Frequenz direkt anwählen.
Bitte beachten Sie
Evtl. nicht alle Smartphones oder Bluetooth Player
unterstützen den kompletten Bluetooth Bedienungsumfang wie hier beschrieben. Im Zweifelsfall ziehen
Sie die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Bluetooth-Geräts
zu Rate.
