Throttle Body. Utilize a custom coupler appr opr iate to the induction system in use on your vehicle.

throttle body. Remove the four 10mm bolts that
secure the throttle body to the intake manifold
and place it on a workbench. NOTE!!! Be
careful when disconnecting. Because of
some TSB’s from GM about the connector
wires becoming loose easily, be sure to pull
from the connector and NOT from the wires
when disconnecting from the throttle body.
Part #1790- 102mm with Spacer
the four bolts that secure the throttle body motor
to the throttle body. Remove the motor by gently
lifting up. Also remove the white gear by sliding
it up off the pin. Transfer the gear and motor to
the BBK Throttle Body and tighten the motor
with the stock hardware. NOTE!!! The timing of
the white gear and the gear on the motor
unit are inconsequential and doesn’t matter
how they are lined up.
hardware (The Factory O-Ring is re-used), plug
in the electronics, re-install the Air Inlet Tube
and breather hose. Tighten the hose clamps.
NOTE!!! If installing the 102mm BBK Throttle
Body you will have to install the provided
spacer between the manifold and throttle
body. Also be sure that the supplied O-ring
is installed in the machined groove on the
spacer, and the factory o-ring is clean and
not damaged.
reconnect the negative battery terminal and
start the vehicle to ensure there are no leaks.
