Cold Air Intake Kit

Tools required-
2.5, 4mm allen wrench, 8, 10mm socket, ratchet, short extension. Torx
T-20, Phillips screwdriver.

NOTE
Disconnect negative battery cable.
Unplug mass air meter.
Loosen clamp on intake tube at air box.
Release clamps that retain the air box lid, remove lid.
Remove the bolt that holds down the air box and remove box.
Remove mass air sensor from stock air box lid using a T-20 Torx.
Be sure to acknowledge the rubber grommets that sit in the
fender apron locating the air box. These can stick to the air box
when removed. Verify that they stay in place to locate the BBK
CAI kit
Step 7
Install the sponge seal on the top edge of the BBK shield. Trim off any
excess using heavy shears or scissors.
Step 8
Install the aluminum pins in the holes on the bottom of the shield
using the supplied 1/4-20 Phillips screws.
Step 9
Install the BBK aluminum mass air housing into the shield with the
four supplied button head screws.
Step 10
Place the BBK filter over the mouth of the mass air meter housing and
secure it using the supplied clamp.
Step 11
Install the mass air sensor into the housing with the two supplied
button head screws.
Step 12
Remove the (1) ABS brake pump bolt on the core support (in the
engine bay, behind the headlight).
Step 13
Set the BBK assembly in place by guiding the studs into the rubber
grommets in the fender apron and lining up the front bolt hole in the
shield over the ABS bolt hole.
Step 14
Tighten the stock air box bolt and ABS bracket bolt through the shield
mounting holes to secure.

Plug in the mass air sensor.
Reconnect the battery.
