Disconnect negative battery terminal. Unplug the IAT sensor from the front of the factory inlet hose and remove the sensor from the hose. Loosen the hose clamp that secures the inlet hose to the factory air box and pull the inlet and
breather hoses off of the air box. Remove the passenger side inner fender liner by working inside the wheel well (outside of the
vehicle) and removing the 8mm bolts that attach the liner to the vehicle. Remove the (2) 13mm bolts from the bottom of the air box where it attaches to the mounting
bracket. Remove the remaining (2) 13mm bolts that attach the air box bracket to the inside of the fender
(under the hood). Then lift the air box, bracket, and hose out of the vehicle and set them aside. Remove the (2) 10mm bolts that attach the decorative engine cover. Remove it and the intake hose. Re-install the fender liner using the original hardware. Install the supplied rubber isolator strip onto the BBK filter shield by starting at one end and pressing
the open side of the seal down over the top edge and continue until you reach the other end. Trim any excess with scissors or shears.
Install the (2) supplied grommet studs using the supplied screws to the bottom of the BBK filter shield.
The rubber grommets may still be stuck on the bottom of the air box. Peel them off and place them back into the holes in the air box mounting bracket.
Install the filter shield by guiding the grommet studs into the grommets in the top of the fender liner air box mounting bracket while pushing down.
Use the original bracket mounting bolts to attach the top of the filter shield to the inside of the fender.
Place the blue coupler over the mouth of the throttle body and slide 2 of the supplied hose clamps over the coupler.
Place the filter into the shield and guide the mouth of the filter through the big hole in the shield until the base of the filter is resting against the shield and the small hole in the filter is aligned with the small hole in the shield.
Install the supplied grommet into the BBK inlet tube. Push the tip of the IAT sensor through the grommet until it is fully engaged. Guide the straight portion of the BBK inlet tube into the mouth of the filter and then guide the bent
portion into the coupler on the throttle body. Secure the filter and coupler by tightening the hose clamps.
Push the supplied black plastic fitting through the small hole in the shield and into the small hole in the filter. Connect the breather hose to the exposed end of the fitting.
Plug in the IAT sensor. Reconnect the battery.
