1 DFG Module Introduction
1.1 Function introduction
DFG is an integration of the original Pulsar DFG 1.0 and 2.0. This module includes
six functional modules: PSD, FRS, Shock, Sweep, ASW, and MCG. Clicking the ‘DFG’
drop-down menu button on the left allows you to switch between these six functional
modules at will.
1.2 Main Interface
Figure 1-1 Main Interface
The main interface is as shown in the figure, including the upper menu bar, the
parameter input on the left and the drawing part on the right. Toggle functions on the
menu bar. The operation of the main interface of each function is similar.

Open a saved file.
2.1.1.2 Reset
Reset all configurations as default.
Note: Clicking ‘Reset’ to reset the parameter configuration is equivalent to
creating a new project file, and the corresponding file path will also change. If the
original project file has been modified but not saved, clicking ‘Reset’ to reset will
recreate a new project file, and the modified but unsaved parameters of the original
project file will not be saved.

Pcf
Binary file: This file type is the default type of the original DFG
file. It is a binary file. It saves all parameters of the PSD except
the random number setting. It is compatible with the data format
of the previous version of DFG.
Pcfx (xml)
This file type is a file type customized by the software after
upgrading the previous version of DFG to distinguish it from
other software systems. Lock two parameters, the file format
specification is highly readable.
3.1.3 Other Features
⚫ After switching, the program defaults to open the file configuration when it
was closed or switched last time. If it is the first time to open, it is the default
parameter.
⚫ There are two methods for deleting rows within a table area: firstly, use the
corresponding ‘Delete’ button for the table area to remove the relevant row;
alternatively, select the rows to be deleted and press the ‘Delete’ key to
remove them.

(1) Internal Envelope When the Internal Envelope option is selected, two scenarios
apply: firstly, the generated acceleration envelope will default to using the acceleration
envelope from the random seed file; secondly, when the Use Custom Seed File option
is selected, it will utilise the acceleration envelope from the custom seed file. When the
Internal Envelope option is deselected, the acceleration envelope is generated based on
the envelope impact and envelope sustain parameters set for the region. This is
primarily used to customise acceleration envelopes to meet specific practical
requirements.
(2) Internal Frequency Points. When the Internal Frequency Points option is
selected, the programme will utilise its default frequency points when generating
response spectra. If this option is deselected, the programme will instead employ
frequency points calculated from the sampling frequency and FFT window size.

3.5 ASW Module

Page 27
xKit Operation Manual
3.5.1 ASW Introduction
ASW is a curve generation tool for complex requirements.
Based on the ordinary sinusoidal curve, the maximum and minimum speed, the
maximum and minimum acceleration, the maximum and minimum stroke, and the ratio
of displacement to the total stroke under maximum performance are required at the
same time. This tool draws curves with different expressions according to the
requirements of each segment. The introduction of the jerk limit and the appropriate
adjustment of the maximum performance segment stroke ratio effectively expand the
parameter range of the curve that can be generated and realize the automatic adjustment
of the ratio of each segment. The effect is shown below.
The supported file type is “.aswx ”(xml file).

additional parameters can be adjusted. Appropriate adjustment may sacrifice
the proportion of the constant speed section to produce a more consistent
result.
⚫ After switching, the program defaults to open the file configuration when it
was closed or switched last time. If it is the first time to open, it is the default
parameter.

Auto Ramp Time
Set the parameter for the ramp transition time between
waveforms, with the unit being seconds (s). During multi-
signal switching, if the endpoint of the previous signal does not
align with the starting point of the current signal, a ramp
(Ramp) signal transition is typically required between
waveforms to prevent system impact. This parameter defines
the duration of the intermediate ramp signal transition. Note
that this time setting must not be less than 2 seconds.

Waveform duration. This value is calculated automatically and
does not need to be configured manually.

Note:
(1) A ramp waveform is a linearly changing signal, typically characterised by a
linear increase or decrease over time. Its characteristic is a continuous, monotonic
change that does not repeat.
(2) A cycle waveform is a periodically repeating signal. Common periodic
waveforms include sine waves, square waves, triangular waves, and sawtooth waves.
The characteristic of a periodic waveform is that the signal repeats at fixed time
intervals.
