Note! The C.A.R.B. exemption sticker, (attached), must be visible under the hood so that an emissions inspector can see it
when the vehicle is required to be tested for emissions. California requires testing every two years, other states may vary.

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY TO ENSURE CORRECT FITMENT AND OPERATION
STEP 1
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove driver side engine cover.
STEP 2
Unplug the wiring harness that connects to the air temperature sensor on the
stock inlet tube.
STEP 3
Disconnect the vacuum line from the stock air box and valve cover and
remove completely.
STEP 4
Remove the bolt that holds that stock air box to the core support. Loosen
the clamp on the inlet tube at the throttle body. Remove the air box and inlet
tube from the vehicle by lifting up on the air box releasing it from its mounting
points and pull the inlet hose free from the throttle body.
STEP 5
Remove the rubber grommet from the bottom pin on the air box and put it
onto the pin on the bottom of the BBK Cold Air Shield.
STEP 8
Set the BBK Air Filter into the Air Shield and put the bottom of the air lter
through the hole in the air shield line up the barb tting coming out of the air
lter with the hole in the air shield. Place the hose clamp over the bottom of
the air lter once it is though the air shield.
STEP 9
Install the BBK Cold Air Tube into the inlet on the BBK air lter. Install the other
end of the Cold Air Tube into the rubber coupler on the throttle body. Adjust
the air tube for best tment and tighten down all clamps to secure the air lter
and air tube in place.
STEP 10
Install the vacuum hose that is supplied in the kit. Connecting it to the barb
tting on the air lter and the port on the valve cover. This hose will need to
be cut to size.
STEP 11
Reconnect the wiring harness plug onto the air temp sensor.
STEP 12
STEP 6
Set the BBK Cold Air Shield into place press the pin with the rubber grommet
into the hole in the inner fender. Re-install the bolt that was removed in step
4 and tighten it down.
STEP 7
Remove the air temp sensor from the stock inlet tube and Install the air temp
sensor into the rubber grommet on the BBK Cold Air Tube.

Re-connect the negative battery terminal. Re-install the engine cover. Start
the vehicle and check for any air leaks.
YOUR INSTALL IS NOW COMPLETE.
