500 Series In-wall speakers
Product Description
The 500 Series are the best sounding in-wall speakers at their price. That’s because we designed them for audiophile reproduction, with tight-tolerance drivers and elaborate crossover networks. These unobtrusive speakers are weather-resistant for placement in kitchens, baths, even outdoors.
Distributed Audio Systems
Use the 500 Series for high quality music throughout your home. We use high-grade components for the broadest dispersion, so they fill large areas with sound.
Theater Systems
Use 500 Series speakers in small to mid-sized theaters with an A/V Receiver. They are appropriate in rooms up to 3,000 ft3.
Product Features
• High-mass plastic frames damp unwanted resonances.
• Grilles can be painted to match your decor.
• Can be placed outdoors.
• Can be mounted in walls and ceilings.
Product Construction
Crossover Networks
We design our crossovers with the finest electrical components. We use a glass PCB board and handwound chokes.
Grilles
Our grilles can be painted to match your decor.
Speaker Baffle
We chose a stiff, damped glass-filled nylon baffle for the rectangular speakers. It provides greater definition in the midrange and bass.
Bass Units
Our long-throw bass units have polycarbonate cones and butyl surrounds for consistent performance even in high humidity environments.
Broad Dispersion
In-wall speakers like the 500 Series are typically used to fill a listening room with sound. This requires broad dispersion. Unlike most products in their class, the 500 Series use broad dispersion, high power handling tweeters, filling your room with sound.
Tight Tolerances
We have these speakers built to the tightest tolerances in the industry. Where other manufacturers routinely produce speakers with a tolerance of ±6dB, we ship products within a ±3dB window. This assures a more refined, consistent sound from each unit.
