In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, including its hints and warnings. To avoid unnecessary mistakes and accidents, it is important to ensure that all people using the appliance are thoroughly familiar with its operation and safety features. Save these instructions and make sure that they remain with the appliance if it is moved or sold, so that everyone using it through its life will be properly informed on appliance use and safety. For the safety of life and property keep the precautions of these user ’s instructions as the manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by omission.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given super vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a café and understand the hazards involved.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
Keep all packaging well away from children. There is risk of
suffocation.
If you are discarding the appliance pull the plug out of the socket, cut
the connection cable (as close to the appliance as you can) and remove the door to prevent playing children to suffer electric shock or to close themselves into it.
If this appliance featuring magnetic door seals is to replace an older
appliance having a spring lock (latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make that spring lack unusable before you discard the old appliance. This will prevent it from becoming a death trap for a child.

During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain
that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged.

Make sure that you can come to the mains plug of the appliance.Do not pull the mains cable.If the power plug socket is loose, do not insert the power plug. There

You must not operate the appliance without the lamp.This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it.Do not remove nor touch items from the freezer compartment if you

Careandcleaning
Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket.
Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the appliance. Use a

Regularly examine the drain in the refrigerator for defrosted water. If
necessary, clean the drain. If the drain is blocked, water will collect in

te bottom of the appliance.
Installation
Important! For electrical connection carefully follow the instructions
given in specific paragraphs.
Unpack the appliance and check if there are damages on it. Do not
connect the appliance if it is damaged. Report possible damages immediately to the place you bought it. In that case retain packing.
It is advisable to wait at least four hours before connecting the
appliance to allow the oil to flow back in the compressor.
Adequate air circulation should be around the appliance, lacking this
leads to overheating. To achieve sufficient ventilation follow the instructions relevant to installation.
Wherever possible the spacers of the product should be against a
wall to avoid touching or catching warm parts (compressor, con­denser) to prevent possible burn.
The appliance must not be located close to radiators or cookers.Make sure that the mains plug is accessible after the installation of
the appliance.

Service
Any electrical work required to do the servicing of the appliance
should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.
This product must be serviced by an authorized Service Center, and
only genuine spare parts must be used.

Installation
As the colours of t he wires in the m ains lead of this a ppliance may no t correspond wi th the colour ed
markings iden tifying the t erminals in you r plug, proceed a s follows:
1. Connect the wi re coloured g re en and yellow t o the terminal ma rked either wit h the letter E or b y the earth symbol or c oloured gre en and yellow.
2. Connect the wi re coloured b lu e to the termin al either marke d with the lett er N or coloured bl ack.
3. Connect the wi re coloured b ro wn to the termi nal either mark ed with the L or co loured red.
4. Check that no cu t, or stray str ands of wire is pre sent and the co rd clamp is secur e over the outer sheath.
5. Make sure the el ectricity s upply voltage i s the same as that in dicated on th e appliance rat ing plate.
6. Switch on th e ap pliance. The appliance i s supplied wi th a 13 amp plug fitt ed . In the event of having to chang e the fuse in the plu g
supplied, a 13 am p ASTA approve d (BS 1362) fuse mu st be used.

First use
Cleaning the interior
Before using th e appliance f or the first time , wash the interi or and all inte rnal accessor ies with lukewa rm water and some ne utral soap so a s to remove the typ ical smell of a bra nd new product, t hen dry thoro ughly.
Important ! Do not use deterg ents or abrasiv e powders, as the se will damag e the finish.

Freezing fresh food
Th e freezer com partment is sui table for freez ing fresh foo d and storing fro zen and deep-fr ozen food for
a long time.
Pl ace the fresh f ood to be frozen in t he bottom compa rtment.Th e maximum amoun t of food that ca n be frozen in 24 hou rs is specifi ed o n the rating pl ate.Th e freezing pr oc ess lasts 24 ho urs: during thi s period do not add o ther food to be f rozen.
Storing frozen food
When first st ar ting-up or af ter a period out of u se. Before pu tting the produ ct in the compart ment let the appliance run a t least 2 hours o n the higher sett ings.
Important ! In the event of acc idental defro sting, for ex ample the power h as been off f or longer than th e value shown in th e technical c ha racterist ics chart under “ rising time ”, the defroste d food must be consumed quic kly or cooked imm ediately an d then re-froze n (after cooked ).
Thawing
Deep-frozen o r frozen food , prior to be used, c an be thawed in the f reezer comp artment or at roo m temperature , depending o n the time availa ble for this oper ation. Small pieces ma y even be cooked st ill frozen, d irectly from th e freezer. In th is case, cookin g will take longer.

Movable shelves
To permit stor ag e of f ood packages of various sizes, the door balconie s ca n be p laced at different heigh ts . To make these adjustme nt s pr oceed as follows: gradually pull the balcony in the directio n of t he a rrows until it comes free, then reposition as required.

Hints for storage of frozen food
To obtain the best pe rformance f rom this applia nce, you should : make sure that th e commercia ll y frozen food stuffs we re adequately s tored by the re ta iler; be sure that froz en foodstuffs are tran sferred from th e food store to t he freezer in the s hortest possi ble time; not open the door f requently o r leave it open lon ger than absolu tely necessar y. Once defroste d, food deter iorates rapid ly and cannot be re frozen. Do not exceed the s torage peri od indicated by t he food manufac ture.
Cleaning
For hygienic re asons the app liance interi or, including in terior access ories, shou ld b e cleaned reg ularly.
Caution! The appliance m ay not be conne cted to the mains d uring cleanin g. Danger of el ec trical shock! Before c leaning swi tch the applian ce off and re move the plug fro m the mains, or swi tch off or turn out the circ uit breaker o r fuse. Never cle an the applianc e with a steam cl eaner.
