Function Buttons
Rinse Hold
* NOTE: This function should be used when you’re not
going to be taking your clothes out of your washing machine
immediately after the end of a program.
This will keep wrinkles from appearing, as when the button
is pressed, the last rinsing water is not drained. Press this
button again to make it continue from the same point and
finish the cycle.
If you do not want your sensitive clothes to be spun or if you want
them to be spun gently:
1) Make sure that you turn the Program Knob to the ‘STOP’
position.
2) Then turn the Program Knob round to one of the draining or
spinning programs you want and press the ‘START/PAUSE’
button.
If the program you have selected is a drain program, your
machine will start draining the water inside it.
If you have selected a spinning program, your washing
machine will perform a spin first then end the washing
cycle.
EASY IRONING
The Easy Ironing function will make your clothes come out
less wrinkled after a washing cycle.

Washing your laundry
NOTE: (*VERY IMPORTANT*) – You must
ensure that the transportation bolts have
been removed before you attempt to use
your Washing Machine. See pages 27-29.
Only once you are sure this has been done,
can you do the following:
1) Plug in you machine
2) Turn on the water supply
Note on using your Washing Machine for the
first time:
There may be water left inside your machine after factory tests and trials.
• The first time you run a wash cycle, you should not put
laundry in your machine as it needs to clear this water out.
o Pour half a measuring cup of normal or all purpose
• Separate your laundry between clothes of
different types (cotton, synthetic, sensitive,
woolen, etc.); the temperatures they need
to be washed at;, and how dirty they are.
• Never wash your white and coloured clothes
together.
• Since your new coloured clothes may shed
dye on the first wash; wash them
separately.
• Be careful that no metal pieces are in the
pockets of your clothes. There is the
chance of rust residues coming off and
causing stains.
• Zip-up and button your clothes.
• Remove the plastic or metal
hooks of curtains or place them
inside a washing bag and tie.
• Pull textiles like trousers, knitted
fabric, T-shirts and sweatshirts
inside out.
• Wash small clothes like socks and
handkerchiefs in a washing bag.

Loading your Washing
Machine
Open the door of your washing machine.
Load your clothes inside the drum one item at a
time and spread them about well.
When you shut the door of your machine, be careful
that no pieces of clothing are jammed between the
door and the gasket seal.
Shut the door of your machine tightly, otherwise
your machine will not start the washing process.
Filling your Washing Machine’s
Dispenser Drawer with Detergent
The amount of detergent you will need depends
on the following:
• You will need more detergent for washing cycles containing
dirtier clothes.
o For very dirty clothes, select a program with pre-
washing, fill compartment 1 with ¼ of the amount of the
detergent you are putting in compartment 2.
o For clothes that are only slightly dirty, do not pre-wash
and put only a small amount of detergent into
compartment 2 in your washing machine’s dispenser
drawer.
9
Page 10
*NOTE:
Only use detergents for automatic washing machines. The
amount that you will need for different washing loads and
types will be written on the packaging of your detergent.
The harder the water in your area, the more detergent
you will need to use.
SOFTENERS
9Fill the softener compartment in your detergent drawer
with softener. Do not exceed the MAX level.
Otherwise, the softener will diffuse in the washing
water through the siphon.
9Softeners with high density (thick softeners) should be
diluted with water before filling the drawer. This is
because it will block the siphon and prevent the flow of
the softener.
FLUID DETERGENTS
9You can use fluid detergents in all programs without
pre-washing. For this, move the fluid detergent level
plate in the second compartment of the detergent
drawer and pour in the amount of fluid detergent
according to the levels on this plate.
Select the program that’s right for the clothes you want to
wash according to the Table on the next page.
THE PROGRAM KNOB
With the program knob, you can select the program you’d like to
wash your clothes with. You can adjust the program selection process
by turning the program knob in both directions. You must be careful
that the marker on the Program Knob points exactly to the program you
want to select.
*NOTE: If you turn the Program Knob to the STOP
position while your machine is running, you will end the
washing cycle prematurely.
By pressing the ‘
Start / Pause’ button, you can start the
program you have selected or pause a running program. See next
page for a list of the different programs you can select.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:
Please note: Before attempting any kind of maintenance
or cleaning on your washing machine:
9 Unplug your machine
9 Close the Water Tap
.
WATER INLET FILTERS
On the tap part of your machine’s water inlet hose and the ends of
the water inlet valves, there are filters to prevent dirt and foreign
materials from getting into the water.
* Note: If your Washing Machine cannot get enough water (even
though your water tap is open), it means that these filters will
need cleaning.
9 REMOVE THE WATER INLET HOSE
9 REMOVE THE FILTERS FOUND ON THE WATER INLET VALVES BY USING
PLIERS AND WASH THOROUGHLY WITH A BRUSH.
9 CLEAN THE FILTERS OF THE WATER INLET HOSES AT THE TAP SIDE BY
MANUALLY REMOVING THEM AND THE SEAL.
9 AFTER CLEANING THE FILTERS, FIT THEM BACK IN THE SAME WAY AS
The PUMP FILTER SYSTEM prolongs the life of your PUMP, which drains
away the dirty water. It also keeps lint from entering the pump.
You should clean your pump filter every 2-3 months.
To clean your PUMP FILTER, see the diagram and instructions on
the following page:
16
Page 17
9 Remove the kick-plate by pushing it upwards with your hands
away from the lower securing claws and pulling it towards
yourself.
9 Before opening the filter cover, place a cup in front of the filter
cover to prevent flow of the remaining water in the machine.
9 Loosen the filter cover by rotating it anti-clockwise and drain the
water.
9 Remove the foreign materials and build-up from the filter.
9 Check that the pump can rotate with your hand.
9 After cleaning the pump, fit the filter cover back on by rotating it
clockwise.
9 Fit the kick-plate back into place, watching how the claws latch
into place, and push it closed.
* NOTE: Do not forget that if you do not fit the filter
cover properly, it will leak water!

Cleaning the Detergent Drawer
DETERGENT DRAWER
Detergents may form sediment in your detergent drawer or in the
housing of the detergent drawer over time.
• To clean the sediment, pull out the detergent drawer from time to
time.
To pull out the detergent drawer:
• Pull the detergent drawer to the end. (Diagram 1)

Cleaning the Cabinet
9 Clean the exterior surface of your machine with lukewarm water
and a cleaning substance that will not harm or scratch the cabinet.
After rinsing with clean water, wipe it with a soft and dry cloth.
PLEASE NOTE: If your washing machine is installed in a
location where the ambient temperature can fall below 0 °C, do
the following (once before you know your machine will be unused
for a long time).
o Plug in your Washing Machine.
o Close the water tap and pull out the water inlet hose or hoses from
the tap.
o Place the ends of the water drain and water inlet hoses in a cup on
the ground.
o Adjust the program knob to ‘Draining’ program.

o Run the program by pressing the ‘Start/Pause’ button.
o Unplug your machine when the program is over (program end light
is on).
* When you complete this process, the remaining water inside the
machine will be drained. There will now be no danger of ice forming.
When you use your washing machine again, be sure that the ambient
temperature is above 0 °C.
Cleaning the Drum
*PLEASE NOTE: Do not leave metal parts like needles, staples or
coins inside your Washing Machine. These items cause rust buildup in
the drum. To clean these stains away, use a cleaning substance (that
doesn’t have chlorine in it) and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Never use dish-washing wires or similarly rough objects.
*REMOVAL OF LIME FROM YOUR MACHINE
If you use the right amount of detergent in your washing machine,
there will be no need for lime removal. However, if you want to use
lime removers, please pay attention to their manufacturers’ warnings.
