Precautions: Read First!
- If after reading the d irection you feel uncomfort able about installing the amp lifier in your car, or not
equipped or co mpet ent to do so, you should have t he amp lifier installed by an au thor ized installer. It's your car!
- Negative bat tery t erminal must be disconnecte d before any electrical conne ction are made.
- Be sure choose a l ocat ion that provides substanti al ventilation for the amplif ier. The most preferred
locations wo uld be i n your car's trunk or on the ba ck wal l of a truck.
- The location chos en should provide at least 4" of cl earance above the amplifier f or adequate
ventilatio n.
- If the amplifier is to b e mounted vertically be sure th at it is in a place where adequate ai r will flow
along the leng th of it s heatsink fins for cooling.
- NEVER mount th e ampl ifier up side down, this will cau se the heat to rise back into the amp lifier
causing ther mal sh utdown or possible perm anen t damage.
- NEVER mount th e ampl ifier in a location that is subje ct to direct sunlight or expose d to moisture.

Precautions: Read First!
- Be sure to mount the amplifier to a strong, solid surf ace wh ich wi ll not g ive wa y under the stress of a
sudden stop or accident.
- Make sure that the mounting screws will not pe netr ate th e gas ta nk, br ake an d fuel lines, wiring or
other critical parts of your car when instal led.
-NE VER op erate the amplifier without the proper power and ground wire - 0 gauge minimum.
- NEVER operate the amplifier withou t prop er fus ing. F use ho lder m ust be located with in 18 inches
of the battery. This fuse is to protect the car, not the electron ics. I n case o f a shor t, the f use wi ll blow instead of the wire burning up. Usi ng oth er tha n the re comm ended fuse ratings at the battery and at the amplifier may cause damage to the amp lifi er and w ill vo id you r warranty.
- Do not run wiring underneath or outsid e the ca r sinc e expo sure t o the el ements may cause the
insulation to deteriorate rapidl y, res ulti ng in sh ort- circ uits and/or intermittent operation. All cables should be run beneath carpe ts and i nsid e trim p iece s.
- To help m inim ize interference, it is best to run the power cables along the opposite side from the
audio cables.
- Whenever wires pass through metal, rubbe r or pla stic g romm ets mu st be us ed to prevent the metal
from wearing through the installation an d caus ing a sh ort.
- Whenever possible, use cable ties, mount ing cl amps a nd sim ilar w iring aids. Adding stress relief loops to wiring is also advisable to pre vent s trai ning o r brea kage.
- It is best to test the system before the amplifier is mounte d and in teri or of ca r is rea ssem bled.
- If the temperature inside your car reaches e xtre me lev els( such a s sitt ing locked up for several hours
in the hot sun or exposed to a very cold winter's da y), th e ampl ifie r may go i nto pr otection mode and shut off. Leave the unit off until the ambie nt tem pera ture r etur ns to no rmal.
- The amplifier operates with any vehicle u sing a 1 2 volt n egat ive gr ound system. If you are not sure of
the type of electrical system in your vehicl e, con sult y our au thor ized d ealer or qualified mechanic.
- NEVER ground the speaker leads and NEV ER all ow the s peak er lea ds to come in contact with each
other. Speaker wire should be 10 gauge mi nimu m.
- Remote turn on wire must be switched by the radi o or acc esso ry cir cuit .
- Do not listen to high volumes for extended per iods o f time o r hear ing da mage may occur.
CONTINOUS EXPOSURE TO SOUND PRESSURE LEVELS OVER 100dB MAY CAUSE PERMANENT HEARING LOSS. HIGH POWERED AUTOSOUND SYSTEM MAY PRODUCE SOUND PRESSURE LEVELS WELL OVER 130dB. USE COMMON SENSE AND PRACTICE SAFE SOUND.

Installation
MOUNTING:
1. After reading the precautions, decide where you are going to install the unit.
2. Once the location has been determined, place the amplifier in position. Using a felt tip pen or pencil mark the four holes to be drilled for mounting. NEVER use the amplifier as a template for drilling. It is very easy to damage the amplifier surface in manner.
3. Drill four 1/8” diameter holes into mounting surface of steel panel. If you choose to mount on MDF or wood panel, drill four 1/8” diameter holes into mounting surface.
4. It’s advisable to test the system before finally mounting of the amplifier.
5. Mount the amplifier using the supplied 4 self threading screws.
