General Information / Scope of Use
Water meter W3B-1 is an optimal combination with the water filtration system K3600L. Water metre is used for measuring the amount of water used and for displaying filter capacity remaining until the exchange point.
It provides for good water quality for long time, and an acoustic signal informs about the need for water filter replacement.

Indications and Tips
Before commissioning, read these operating instructions carefully to avoid
personal injuries and property damage. Improper use may cause damage.
Follow all installation and setting instructions.
Use only commercially available AA type batteries (2 pcs).
Ensure that the cover of the battery compartment is closed properly to prevent
any foreign objects or moisture from entering.
Remove the batteries from the battery compartment in the following cases: Water or other liquids have entered the device. The device display has stopped working. The device or its housing is damaged. The keys no longer function.
WARNING! Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the appliance yourself;
contact an authorised technical service instead.
Installation
ATTENTION! Installation must only be carried out by trained and authorised personnel,
and in accordance with local regulations.
Inserting Batteries
1. Slide the battery compartment cover to open it.
2. Insert 2 AA batteries in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment.
Connecting Water Metre
1. Close water supply to water filtration system.
2. Disconnect the intake side of the tube from the filter head, using a suitable tool
to this end.
3. Screw the water metre with the enclosed adapter to the filter head outlet.
4. Connect the drain tube at the outlet side of the water metre.

Settings
Setting capacity and time, after which an alarm indicating the need for water filter cartridge replacement will be shown.
The device may be configured to count the water flow down from the set amount to 0 and/or
the device may be configured so that it counts the number of days down from the set filling level to 0.
1. Press and hold PROG key, and then press DISPLAY/RESET key.
2. Release both keys.
The water metre starts the programming process. The display blinks, indicating that the process is in progress.

Setting Capacity
1. Press DISPLAY/RESET key to confirm the capacity.
The values available for setting are: OFF, 500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, …, 100,000
litres.
2. Then press DISPLAY/RESET key to save the setting and move to the next step.
Time Setting:
1. Press DISPLAY/RESET key to select the number of days.
Available ranges: OFF, 30, 60, 90, ..., 690, 720, OFF, 30, 60, … days.
2. After selecting the days, press DISPLAY/RESET key to save the setting.
After pressing DISPLAY/RESET key the settings are stored and the device switches to an operating mode.
NOTE! The capacity display option is not available, when the OFF setting is
selected. The time option is not available, when the OFF setting is selected.
Display Messages During Operation
The water metre switches the display automatically, when water flow and switches the display off 10 seconds after the flow through the device ends.
By pressing DISPLAY/RESET key you may select from amongst the following messages:
current water flow in litres/minute remaining number of days to the end of water filter life remaining amount of water to the end of water filter life

Alarms
When the remaining volume of water reaches 100 litres or the remaining number of days falls below 7, the device informs you during operation that the end of capacity is approaching through a repeated beep and a blinking display.
When the remaining water volume drops to 0 litres or the remaining number of days drops to 0, the device also indicates the end of capacity through repeated beeps and a blinking display.
Resetting Settings
After replacing the water filter cartridge, the program must be reset to the previously set quantities (capacity and time).
1. Press DISPLAY/RESET key.
Settings are restored.
Battery Change
The device alerts with a double beep when the batteries no longer feature the required level for operation.
1. Replace depleted batteries to two new AA batteries.
NOTE! The information is saved by the device when the batteries are replaced
with new ones.
