5.1 Installation

Unpacking / Positioning
Unpack the appliance, remove all external and internal packaging elements and
shipment safeguards.
If the appliance is covered with a protective film, remove it. Remove the film
slowly, so no glue residues are left. Remove any glue residues with the use of a suitable solvent.
Be careful not to damage the rating plate and warning labels fixed on the
appliance.
Never place the appliance in humid or wet environment.
Place the appliance in a way making the connections easily accessible, so that
they may be quickly disconnected if such a need arises.
The appliance should be placed on surfaces that are:
even, with sufficient bearing capacity, resistant to water, dry and resistant
to high temperatures;
– sufficiently large, and thus enabling usage of the appliance with no
problems;
easily accessible; well ventilated.
Nie należy umieszczać urządzenia w gorąc ym otoczeniu a ni w pobliżu m ateriałów łat wopalnych.
The appliance requires sufficient airflow f or proper operation. Assure a minimu m lateral clearance of the appliance of 10 cm.
Die Öffnungen am Gerät niemals abdec ken oder blockieren.
Do not position the appliance in high humidity locations. Air relative humidity
should not exceed 70%.
Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight or in the vicinity of heat sources
(cooker, radiator, heating devices, etc.). Heat sources may negatively affect power consumption, and restrict functions of the appliance, too.
In order to avoid damage to the compressor, do not tilt the appliance more than
45° when positioning or transporting it.
The electric socket should be easil y accessible so it is possible to quickly discon nect the power cord when necessar y. Installation and operation
EN
The appliance should be installed only in rooms, in which ambient temperature
falls in the range of 10–32°C.
Water Connection
1. Install the appliance near a water connection.
ATTENTION! Connect the appliance only to a supply connection of potable water.
Otherwise install a water purification appliance.
2. Connect water supply tube to a tap.
3. Connect the other end of the tube to the water connection at the back of the
appliance.
4. Insert gasket rings.
NOTE! The hydraulic pressure should amount to 2–3 bar. With higher pressure
install a pressure reducer.
Water Drain
1. Connect one end of the drain tube with a rubber sleeve to drain connection at
the back of the appliance.
2. Fit the other end of the drain hose to a sewerage pipe or a water container.
3. Make sure the sewerage pipe or a water container are below the level of ice-
cube maker's drain port, so that water could flow easily.
Power supply connection
Verify if technical data of the appliance (see rating plate) correspond with the
local electric power grid specification.
Connect the appliance to a single, properly grounded mains socket with
protective contact. Do not connect the appliance to a multi-socket.
The power cord should be laid in a way preventing anyone from threading on it
or tripping against it.
If in winter the ice-cube maker is brought from the outside to a room, leave it for
a few hours to heat up and reach the room temperature before switching it on.
Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, wait 1 hour for the coolant
to stabilize.
After a power failure or when the plug is removed from the socket, reconnect the

Appliance Operation
1. Switch the ON/OFF switch on the operation panel to 'I' position. The red power indicator light in the ON/OFF switch lights up. The green operation indicator light is lit and the ice cube production process is
started. The process consists of the following stages:
water flows in; ice cubes are produced; ice cubes are ejected;
14 / 22 104049
Cleaning
EN
– the ready ice cubes are stored.
When the storage container is full, the 'Ice Full' message on the operation panel is shown and the appliance automatically finishes the process.
2. Open the storage container lid and use the ice cube shovel to take the ready ice
cubes out.
After taking out the ice cubes, the appliance re-starts production.
CAUTION! Due to hygienic reasons, ice cubes produced during the first production
process should be disposed of; do not use them to cool beverages nor food products.
If water supply is insufficient, the 'Water Low' message is shown in the operation panel and the appliance switches off automatically.
3. Check water supply to ice-cube maker.
If an error occurs, the 'Error/Fault' message is shown and the appliance switches off automatically.
WARNING! Instant switching on of the appliance following an automatic switch off
may lead to compressor damage.
If the appliance switched automatically off (insufficient water supply, full ice cube storage container, power failure, etc.), do not switch it back on immediately. Wait 3–5 minutes, and then re-start the appliance.
4. When the appliance is no longer in use, switch it off using ON/OFF switch and
disconnect from the power supply (pull the plug out).
NOTE! If the appliance will not be used for a prolonged time, drain water from
