Before the first use
Before the first use, the device should be thoroughly cleaned according to the instructions in section 6 “Cleaning“, whereas possible remnants after the manufacturing process or packaging should be removed in a safe way. Finally, dry all the cleaned parts.
Place the enclosed filling funnel on the housing and the collection tray under the opening for collecting ice.
CAUTION!
For safety reasons the device may work only when the filling funnel is placed on the housing and the tray for crushed ice is properly placed (hooked) under the opening for collecting ice. Only then the safety switch will operate.
If the filling funnel or the collection tray for crushed ice is removed, the device will automatically switch off.
Ice crushing
Connect the device to a single grounded socket.
Switch the device on by turning ON/OFF switch to the “I“ position.

Pour hot water through the filling funnel until the embedded piece of ice melts and falls out.
Re-insert the plug of the device in the outlet, turn the ON/OFF switch to the “I” position and continue the process of crushing, filling the funnel again with ice cubes.
When the crushing process is finished, you can remove the collection tray with crushed ice and pour the ice to appropriate container or directly add to the drinks.
When removing a collection tray with crushed ice the contact switch is automatically deactivated and the ice crusher stops the ice crushing process.
