Never place the device on the flammable surfaces.
In order to avoid the compressor damages do not tilt the device during positioning
or transport by more than 45°.
Do not place the device in the vicinity of open fire, electric ovens, heating furnaces, or other heat sources like direct sunlight. High temperature may damage the device surface and may impact the cooling capacity and energy consumption.
During the device installation keep in mind that the environment temperature should not be lower than 10 °C and higher than 32 °C.
Do not place the device in places of high air humidity. The excessive humidity may damage the device.
Place the cake display so that sufficient air circulation is ensured. Keep a distance of at least 10 cm from walls and other objects.

mounted at different height, rotated, removed.
Changing the height at which the glass shelves are mounted enables storing in the device of cakes
and layer cakes of different height.
Mount 3 brackets (in the side bars and in the rear bar of
the housing) for every glass shelf at the desired height:
brackets with 1 pad at the rear, brackets with 2 pads on the right and left side at
the front of the cake display showcase.
Next, place the glass shelves on the brackets.
Glass shelves may be rotated by moving them left or right along the pads on
brackets, which makes it easy to put in or take out layer cakes, cakes, snacks, etc., which enables better display of food products.
Glass shelves are removable for easier height adjustment and cleaning, as well as cleaning of the interior of the cake display showcase.
- 32 -
Cooling cakes
The forced air cooling system with a fan ensures that the temperature inside the cake display is evenly distributed on all levels.
When the set temperature has been reached inside the device, the LED cooling indicator goes off and the device is ready to hold cakes, layer cakes, snacks etc.
Open the glass door and place the prepared cakes on the glass shelves.
NOTE!
Do not place warm cakes, layers cakes, snacks etc. inside the cake display, wait until they reach room temperature.
To reduce energy loss during the cooling process, open the glass door for as short a time as possible.
After taking out the desired cakes from the cake display, close the glass door.
If the device is to remain unused for a period of time, disconnect it from the power
supply (pull the plug out the socket!).
6. Cleaning
CAUTION!
Before cleaning, disconnect the device from the power supply (pull the plug out of the socket!).
The device is not suited for direct washing with water jets. Therefore, you must not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!
Make sure no water gets into the device.
o Clean the device thoroughly at the end of the working day. o Disconnect the device from the power supply (pull the plug from the socket!). o Never use aggressive or coarse cleaning agents such as scouring powder, alcohol,
solvents or other substances that could damage the device’s surfaces.
o Use a soft, dry cloth for drying and polishing the device. o Before cleaning open the glass door and remove all food products from the cake
display showcase. While cleaning the cake display, store the food in a refrigerator to avoid spoiling it.
- 33 -
o Remove the glass shelves from the cake display showcase and clean them
thoroughly with a soft cloth and a disinfectant appropriate for food service applications. After cleaning the glass shelves, rinse them in clean water and then dry thoroughly.
o Clean the interior and exterior of the cake display showcase regularly using an
appropriate mild cleaning agent and a soft cloth. Rinse the cleaned surfaces with clean water to remove any leftover cleaning products, then dry the cake display before further use.
o Clean the removable particle filter regularly.
It protects the condenser against dust and dirt and is located in the front section of the base.
o Remove the filter by pulling it up (see figure on the
right) and clean it with a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner.
o There are two ventilation grilles inside the device
which allow for air circulation above the evaporator. Remove and clean ventilation grilles regularly by cleaning them in warm water using an appropriate brush (see figure on the right).
o If condensate has gathered at the bottom of the cake display showcase, remove it
with a soft, wet cloth.
If the cake display is to remain unused for a longher period of time:
disconnect the device from the power supply (pull the plug from the socket!); remove all food products from the cake display; clean the interior and exterior of the cake display as in the instructions above; rinse the device with clean water and thoroughly dry it;
- 34 -
7. Possible Malfunctions
In case of malfunction, disconnect the device from its power source. Before contacting the service or sales agent, verify - based on the table below - whether it is possible to eliminate disruption in operation.
Malfunction Cause Solution
No cooling
Improperly connected power cord
Electrical circuit safety fuse has gone off
Power outage
Damaged temperature
Pull the plug and reinsert it
into the socket correctly
Check the fuse, check the device by connecting it to another socket
Check the power source
Contact the sales agent
regulator
Insufficient cooling capacity
Device emits loud sound
Device is too close to source heat or direct sunlight
Poor air circulation in the device
Improper temperature setting
Device is overfilled
Device is placed on an
uneven surface
Device is touching the wall or other objects
Ensure sufficient distance between the device and heat sources
Ensure sufficient distance from walls and other objects
Check the settings, set lower temperature value
Remove excess food products
Place the device on an even
surface
Ensure sufficient distance from the wall and other objects
The following conditions are not signs of malfunction:
1. The sound of flowing water. This sound is emitted during the normal use and it is the
sound of coolant flowing in the device.
2. Condensation gathering on external glass sides is normal in the increased
ambient humidity. Remove the condensation water suing a soft, dry cloth.
- 35 -
8. Waste disposal
Discarding old devices
At the end of its service life the discarded device has to be disposed in accordance with the national regulations. It is advisable to contact a company which is specialized in waste disposal, or just contact the local disposal service in your community.
