supports the weight of the device and is not heat sensitive.
Never place the device at the edge of a table to avoid accidents.  Never place the device in humid or wet environment.
Never place the device on the flammable surfaces.  There must be sufficient distance to the walls, cabinets, shelves, etc. during
operation in order to assure free circulation of hot air released from the device.
Place the device so that the plug is easily accessible and can be quickly removed
from its socket in case of necessity.
- 27 -
Connection
DANGER! Electric shock hazard!
The device can cause injuries due to improper installation! Before installation and connecting the local power grid specification should
be compared with that of the device (see rating plate). Connect the device only in case of compliance!
Connect the device only to properly installed single socket with protective terminal.
The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
device directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
5.2 Operation
Before operation
Due to hygienic reasons before the first use of the device fill it with approx. 5 litres
of water and boil it for approx. 5 minutes; set the temperature control knob to
obtaining juice / cooking. Read instructions in section Heating of liquids or food“.
Then rotate the knob counterclockwise to position „0“, disconnect the device from the
socket (pull the plug!) and wait until it cools down. Empty the pot and rinse it thoroughly with clean water.
Heating of liquids or food
WARNING! Electric shock hazard!
Avoid splashes of liquid during operation as it may cause short-circuit in adjustment electronic parts and lead to injuries due to electric shock.
It is very important to always heat drinkable liquids only in the pot. Do not fill
Party stockpot with any non-drinkable liquids, like acids, lyes, oils, nitrates, etc.
CAUTION!
Never turn on the device without liquid or food, as it may lead to damages of enamel coating!
- 28 -
Heating indicator (red)
Temperature
controller knob
(30 °C to 90 °C)
Position
"obtaining juice / cooking"
approx. 100 °C
Rotate the temperature control knob to position „0“. Place appropriate liquid or food in the Party stockpot. Fill the pot with liquids or
food up to 4 cm below the upper vessel edge.
Before turning on cover the vessel with lid which must remain on it during heating.
Burn hazard during cooking!
Connect the device to grounded socket only after filling. Temperature control knob allows for stepless adjustment: 30 °C – 90 °C /
"obtaining juice / cooking" (see fig. below)
Select required position by rotating the temperature controller clockwise. Red
heating indicator will come on. After reaching temperature selected from range 30 °C to 90 °C heating will be automatically turned off by thermostat.
After temperature drop thermostat will reactivate heating, which allows for long
maintaining of liquid in required temperature.
When temperature value of 100 °C is required, rotate the temperature control knob
to obtaining juice / cooking position clockwise. After reaching that temperature the liquid is boiled and thermostat does not turn heating automatically off. In order to obtain lower temperature for maintaining temperature of liquid or food rotate the temperature control knob counterclockwise. When it is not required, turn the device off to avoid content evaporation.
NOTE!
Heating time depends on content volume.
- 29 -
Removing of liquids/food
WARNING! Burn hazard!
During removing the lid there is a risk of burns cause by released steam and condensate. Remove the lid carefully to allow the condensate to drain into the pot.
Party stockpot allows for taking liquids or soups and serving them as required.
Then close the lid to reduce heat losses.
After use set the temperature controller in position „0“ and disconnect the device
from the power supply (pull the plug!), wait for the device to cool down, and empty it completely.
The device is equipped with overheating/dry operation protection. In case of
accidental start-up without liquid or with its insufficient amount the protection will be activated and the device will be automatically turned off.
Rotate the temperature control knob to position „0“, disconnect the device from the socket (pull the plug!), and wait at least 30 minutes for cooling down. After cooling down the pot may be refilled with liquid and used again as usually.
6. Cleaning and descaling
WARNING!
Before cleaning disconnect the electric power supply (pull the plug!) and wait for the device to cool down.
The device is not designed for flushing with direct water jet. Therefore do not use the pressurized jet for cleaning the device!
Never immerse the bottom and supply cable in water or other liquids! Protect the device from the water penetration.
Regular cleaning
o The device should be regularly cleaned after use and as required. o Always use the soft cloth only, never use any abrasive cleaning agents which may
scratch the device.
o Do not use any flammable cleaning agents (alcohol, etc.) as they increase fire and
explosion hazard during the next use.
- 30 -
o Clean the pot interior thoroughly, rinse a few times with clean water, and empty the
vessel completely.
o Wash the lid in warm water with the gentle washing agent. Rinse with clean water. o Wipe the device external surfaces with soft, moist cloth. Use the gentle washing
agent in case of stubborn dirt. Never use any aggressive cleaning agents.
o Wipe the supply cable and plug with dry cloth.
Descaling
o Hard water may lead to scaling in the pot. This results in longer heating time and
might damage the device. When possible, use pre-filtered water in order to avoid
scaling!
CAUTION!
Complaints will not be accepted if the device is not descaled regularly as described in the instruction manual. Such complaints are no cases of warranty. Descale the device regularly!
o We recommend ecological descaling with use of vinegar or citric acid. Prepare
water and vinegar solution (ratio 3:1) or water and ciric acid solution (2 tablespoons per 1 l of water) and pour it into the tank. Wait some time (approx. 1 hour)
and boil the solution.
o Wait some time for the device to cool down, drain the descaling solution and rinse
the tank with clean water a few times to remove the solution residuals.
o When using other commercial descalers follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Storage
o In case of longer standstill clean and descale the device according to the
instructions above. Place supply cable and plug in appropriate places in the bottom of the device. Store the device in wventilated, dry, clean place, protected from frost and sunlight, and inaccessible for children.
