Intended Use
The can opener is designed for opening cans up to a height of 565 mm.

1. Place the clamp attachment on an even, non-slip surface.
2. Turn the eye bolt until the surface for placing cans will be screwed well to the tabletop.
3. The clamp attachment may be additionally attached to the tabletop with 3 bolts by screwing them into designated holes.
4. Insert the square pipe of the can opener to the hole in the clamp attachment. Put a cap on a lower end of the square pipe.
5. The square pipe may be set at different heights, depending on the can.

Assembly
Opening of Cans
1. Before the first use, make sure that the stainless steel blade and transport wheel are clean, because they will come into contact with food. Observe the instructions included in section “Cleaning”.
2. Before opening, clean the can’s lid with a moist cloth.

3. Pull the square pipe upwards and place the can on the clamp attachment, so that it stands directly next to the pipe and below the transport wheel.
4. Press firmly the crank to cut through the can’s lid with the blade.
5. Press the crank onto the centring plate in order to set the right position of the can's rim, between the blade and the cutting surface.

6. When the can's lid is punctured, press the crank to the horizontal position.
The distance between the blade and the transport wheel is diminished. The can is tightly clamped between the blade and the transport wheel.
7. To open the can, turn the crank in the direction pointed by the arrow.

8. When the can is opened, lift the crank (Fig. 9).
9. Remove the opened can from the clamp attachment (Fig. 10).

Cleaning
1. Clean the can opener regularly after the end of each working day, or more frequently if needed.
2. Clean the transport wheel in the case of more stubborn soiling with the use of a dish-washing brush or a toothbrush.
3. Wipe with a clean cloth to remove the cleaning agent residues.
4. Wipe the remaining elements of the appliance with a soft, moist cloth.
5. To end with, dry the elements to leave them to dry in open air.

1. Press the crank in the presented direction, to disassemble the blade mechanism.
2. To clean the blade, remove it from the handle. Proceed the following way:
– Unscrew the screws in the blade
handle.
– Pull out the blade from the handle.
Cleaning of Blade
CAUTION! Injury hazard! The blade is very sharp!
Use gloves resistant to cutting during cleaning of the blade.
3. Clean the blade with soft, moistened cloth and gentle cleaning agent.
4. Reinsert the blade.
5. Fix the blade in the handle and fasten the screws again.

Check and clean the drive.
Maintenance
1. If used intensively, the can opener blade and the transport wheel may get deformed, thus they should be controlled regularly. If the elements are worn out, replace them by contacting the service company.
2. Control the blade handle regularly, and tighten the screws if necessary.
