• Do not move or tilt the device when in operation.
WARNING! Hazard via electrical current!
The device can cause injuries due to improper installation! Before installation the local power grid specification should be compared with
that of the device (see type label). Connect the device only in case of compliance! Take note of the security advice!
5.2 Installation and connection
• Discard the complete packing material after unpacking the device.
• Place the device on top of an even and safe surface which supports the weight of
the device.
• Not at any time should you place the device on an inflammable surface.
• You must not position the device near open fireplaces, electric ovens/arc furnaces,
furnaces/electric heaters or other heat sources. Heat can damage the surface of the device. It can also affect the cooling capacity and increase energy consumption.
• In order to avoid failures of the compressor when assembling or transporting the
mini-refrigerator, it should not be tilted over an angle of 45° at any time. Always use condenser and door with care as damages affect the optimal use.
• The height-adjustable legs of the device should be set adequately until the device
stands in a stable position.
• Place the device in such a manner that there is a minimum of 10 cm between it and
other objects, including walls, in order to ensure proper air circulation.
• Do not set up the mini-refrigerator at places with high humidity or high temperatures,
as these effects may damage the device.
• Never punch holes into the mini-refrigerator. Never install foreign matters/
substances on the mini-refrigerator.
• Do not keep heavy, poisonous or rusty objects in the mini-refrigerator.
• The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
device directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
• Place the device so that the plug is easily accessible and can be quickly removed
from its socket in case of necessity.

5.3 Instructions for use
• When using for the first time, allow the mini-refrigerator to reach the desired tempera-
ture before you put bottles and cans in. This will take on the average 2 to 3 hours.
• The temperature can be adjusted using the thermostatic control. In general it can be
said that a medium setting is most suitable for normal use.
• The more filled bottles or cans there are in the mini-refrigerator, the longer the door is
opened, the higher therefore the energy consumption and the higher the resulting defects.
• In order to cool effectively the door should never be opened for a long time.
Furthermore, the door should not be opened too often.
• In case of a sudden power breakdown the door should not be opened in order to
minimize the loss of cool air.
• The mini-refrigerator should never be longer than 10 minutes without a supply of energy.
• After pulling the power pug or a power breakdown the device should not be connected
to any power source for at least 5 minutes.
Keep food in the refrigerator
• Leave sufficient space between the objects in the miniature refrigerator to ensure
effective cool air circulation.
• Wipe off any kind of water and use sealed plastic bags or containers to protect the
food from drying up and prevent changes in the flavour.
• Hot food should be left to cool down before placing it in the refrigerator; otherwise
the energy consumption increases.
6. Cleaning and maintenance
6.1 Safety advice
o Before beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been
disconnected from power socket (pull the power plug!!!) and has cooled down.
o Do not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the device. o To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and the
plug in water or other liquids.
CAUTION!
The device is not suited for direct washing via water jets. Therefore, you must not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!
Page 11
- 26 -
6.2 Cleaning
o Clean the device regularly. o Take out the grid and wash them off using a soft cloth and a mild cleaning agent. o Clean the inside and outside of the mini-refrigerator by using warm water, a soft
cloth and a mild cleaning agent.
o Use clear water for wiping over. o Cleaning the door seal constantly. Use a soft cloth and soup water then wipe it
with dry soft cloth.
CAUTION!
Never use hot water for cleaning the device! Never use abrasive cleaning agents, e.g. abrasive scouring powder, agents
containing alcohol, thinners, which could damage the plastic parts and/or the coating.
o After the cleaning procedure you should use a soft and dry cloth to wipe dry and
polish the surface.
Defrosting
o The device must be defrosted if there is a layer of ice thicker than 3 to 4 mm on the
evaporator board.
o Prior to defrosting, turn the refrigerator off, take the food out and store it in an
alternative place.
o Leave the door of the device open. The ice thaws automatically and the water flows
into the water receptacle on the rear of the device.
o Empty the water receptacle.
CAUTION!
Never scratch or scrape on the device. The use of sharp or pointed objects may severely damage the evaporator of the device.
When the mini-refrigerator is not in use over longer periods:
o Please pull the power plug from the socket; o Remove all foods and beverages from the mini-refrigerator; o Clean the inside and outside of the mini-refrigerator. Remove and clean off all water
and mould spots;

Problem Cause Solution
Heavy noise.
• Mini-refrigerator does not stand on an even surface.
• Mini-refrigerator touches walls or other items.
• Set the mini-refrigerator on an even surface.
• Arrange sufficient space between mini-refrigerator and walls and/or other items.
The compressor does not switch off automatically.

• Keep the door opening periods low.
The above described problem cases are given for orientation and as examples. Should these or similar problems occur, please turn off the machine immediately and don´t use it anymore. In order to check and repair your machine, please contact a qualified expert or the manufacturer immediately.
The following phenomena are no failures:
1. The sound of flowing water. This may be heard at regular operation and results from the flowing coolant inside the device.
2. The formation of condensed water on the outer glazing is normal at high air humidity. Just wipe off the condensed water by using a soft cloth.
3. The mini-refrigerator requires some time to reach the desired temperature: If the inside temperature is increased and at high outdoor temperatures, this time is extended partly appreciably.
4. The surface of the compressor may become very hot during regular use.
WARNING! BURN HAZARD!
Therefore, you must never touch the compressor with bare hands.
