This instruction manual contains information about the installation, operation and maintenance of the device and should be consulted as an important source of information and reference guide.
Awareness of the safety instructions and instructions for use in this manual will ensure the safe and correct use of the device.
In addition to the information given here, you should comply with any local Health and safety Controls and generally applicable safety regulations.
The instruction manual forms part of the product and should be kept near the device and easily accessible for anyone carrying out the installation, servicing, maintenance or cleaning.
Please keep these instructions and give them to future owners of the device.
1.Safety
This device is designed in accordance with the presently applicable technological standards. However, the device can pose a danger if handled improperly and inappropriately.
All persons using the device must follow the recommendations and instructions in this instruction manual.
1.1 Key to symbols
In this manual, symbols are used to highlight important safety instructions and any advice relating to the device. The instructions should be followed very carefully to avoid any risk of accident, personal injury or material damage.

1.2 Safety instructions
The device is not intended for use by individuals (including
children) with physical or mental disabilities, insufficient experience, and/or insufficient knowledge unless such persons are under the care of a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions regarding appropriate use of the device.
Children should be observed to ensure that they are not playing
with or starting the device.
Prevent access of children to the package materials like plastic
bags and foamed polystyrene elements. Suffocation hazard!
Never leave the device unattended when in use.

The device is designed for outdoor use only! Never use the
device inside buildings, garages or any other closed areas.
Never use the device under a canopy, roof, shed, shade sail or
marquee.
The device is not suitable for the installation and operation on
vehicles, boats or ships.
Never use the device for heating or to dry clothes. The device should be operated in correct and safe technical
condition only. In case of malfunction, close the gas cylinder valve and notify the customer services.
Never make any attempts to disassemble or repair the device.
Maintenance and repair works shall be performed by a qualified gas fitter only and according to current regulations using original spare parts and accessories.
Do not use any accessory or spare parts that have not been
recommended by the manufacturer. These can be dangerous for the user or lead to the damage to the device or personal injury, and besides, void your warranty.
It is forbidden to make any changes or modifications of the
device without explicit authorization of the manufacturer in order to avoid danger and assure optimum operation.
After operation, before cleaning or maintenance work the device
should be disconnected from the gas supply (close the gas cylinder valve).

WARNING! Risk of burns!
Follow the safety instructions below to avoid the hazard.
Never lean over the cooking place during ignition. High flames
from the area may cause severe burns.
Never touch the hot surface of the gas burner during operation
and directly afterwards. The external elements may become very hot. Keep small children away from the device! Before you start cleaning or moving the device elsewhere, let it cool down sufficiently. Use kitchen towels or protective gloves.
WARNING! Fire and explosion hazard!
Follow the safety instructions below to avoid the hazard.
To avoid the fire hazard and the damage to the device never
place the kitchen utensils, towels, paper, etc. on the device surface during operation.
Never use the device near flammable, inflammable materials
(petrol, spirits or alcohol, etc.). High temperature may cause their evaporation and due to contact with the ignition sources the deflagration may occur, and in result the injuries and damage. Leave at least 3 m distance between the device and flammable materials.
Never leave the device unattended when cooking fat or oil as
they may cause fire.

When it rains, snows, hails or there is any other type of precipi-
tation while cooking with oil or fat, cover the cookware with a lid and switch off the device (turn the gas tap to “OFF”, close the gas cylinder valve). Do not move the device or cookware.
Keep the gas hose away from hot surfaces. Never clean the device with inflammable liquids. Vapours may
cause fire or explosion.
In case of fire never extinguish the flames with water, but close
the gas cylinder valve and smother the flames with a lid or fire blanket.
1.3 Proper use
The operational safety of the device is assured only in case of proper use, according to the operation manual.
All technical activities like installation and maintenance must be performed by the qualified service personnel only.
The gas stool cooker is designed only for food preparation and heating up using appropriate cookware.
CAUTION!
Any use going beyond the intended purpose and/or any different use of the device is forbidden and is not considered as conventional.
Any claims against the manufacturer or his authorized representative as a consequence of experiencing damages resulting from unconventional use are impossible.
The operator is liable for all damages resulting from inappropriate use.

2. General information
2.1 Liability and Warrantees
All the information and instructions in this manual take into account standard safety regulations, current levels of technical engineering as well as the expertise and experience we have developed over the years.
The instruction manual was translated with all due care and attention. However, we do not accept liability for any translation errors. The German version of this instruction manual is definitive.
If the delivery consists of a special model, the actual scope of delivery may differ from the descriptions and illustrations in this manual. This is also the case for special orders or when the device has been modified in line with new technology.

If you liked to dispose the packing, consider the regulations applicable in your country. Supply re-usable packing materials to the recycling.
3. Transport, packaging and storage
3.1 Delivery check
Please check the delivery upon completeness and transport damage immediately after receipt. In case of visible damage do not accept or accept the delivery with reservation only.
Note the extent of damage on the carrier’s bill of delivery. Trigger off the complaint. Hidden damages should be reclaimed immediately after notice, as claims for damages
can only be asserted within the effective period for complaints.
3.2 Packaging
Please do not throw away the covering carton of your device as it might be useful for storage purposes, when moving or, in case of damages, when the device must be sent back to a repair center. The outer and inner packing material should be removed completely from the device before installation.
Please inspect the device upon completeness. In case any part is missing please contact our customer service center immediately.
3.3 Storage
Keep the package closed until installation and under consideration of the outside indicated positioning- and storage markings.
Packages should be stored under consideration of the following:
- do not store outdoors,
- keep it dry and dust-free,
- do not expose it to aggressive media,
- do not expose it to direct sunlight,
- avoid mechanical shocks and vibration,
- in case of longer storage (> 3 months) make sure you check the state
of the packaging and the parts regularly, if required refresh or renew;
- before storing disconnect the device from the gas cylinder.

The device functions well only when the gas supply pressure is between the values given in the table below for different gas categories.
In case of derogations from the given values the device is not guaranteed to function properly and start correctly. Request the gas fitter to check the gas supply (check the gas installation, valves or pressure regulators) and contact the gas supplier if necessary.

5. Installation and operation
5.1 Instructions for a gas fitter
CAUTION!
All installation, connection, and maintenance works must be performed by the qualified personnel only that fulfill the following requirements:

5.1.1 Safety instructions

5.1.2 Location
The installation should be performed by a qualified gas fitter according to the local
safety standards for gas supplied devices.
Never place the device in toxic or potentially explosive environment.  Never place the device near flammable materials, such as petrol, fat, clothes, liquid
gas, paper, etc..
Never place the device in humid or wet environment, such as rain, or near
seeping water, etc.
Make sure that near or under the gas stool cooker there are no objects that may
restrict the amount of air necessary for burning.
Never place the device directly next to walls or other objects which are made from
flammable materials. Leave at least 3 m distance before walls and other objects. Follow the current fire protection regulations.
When it is not possible to maintain the recommended distance, use appropriate
protection measures (e.g. heat-resistant foil) which assure keeping the wall temperature in safe range.
Place the device on top of an even, stable, dry, and water-resistant surface that is
not heat sensitive.
CAUTION!
Never remove the rating plate or any warning signs from the device.

5.1.3 Gas connection
Use the device with the gas tap according to EN16129 standard and with the gas
hose marked CE and at least 1 metre long. They are not included in the delivery. We recommend the Bartscher gas
connecting set, code-no. 500180.
Follow the gas supplier instructions about the gas cylinder operation. Never use the gas cylinder with damaged surface, valve, flange or foot rim. Dented
or rusted gas cylinder may be dangerous and should be checked by the gas supplier.
Never connect the device with a non-regulated gas source. When the device is not in use, close the gas cylinder valve. The device is allowed to be used with propane, butane only. Use only the gas cylinders of a weight up to 15 kg. Connect one end of the gas hose to the pressure regulator and the other end to the
gas burner. Make sure that the connection is strong and there is no damage on the components and fiitting.
Pay attention that the gas hose is not twisted or kinked, and it is not in contact with
any hot elements of the gas stool cooker.
Check the gas hose once a month and always when changing the gas cylinder.
The gas hose used with the device need to be replaced every 5 years. When the gas hose has cracks, fissures or other damage it needs to be replaced with a new one immediately.
Before connecting the gas cylinder, make sure that the valve is closed and there is
no open fire (oven, etc.) in the vicinity of the device. Make sure that the seal is in a good condition. Next, connect the pressure regulator with the gas cylinder.
The gas cylinder needs to be always placed in the standing position for proper
operation of the gas connection when using the device.
To replace the gas cylinder, make sure that the valve is closed and there is no open
fire or heat source in the vicinity of the device.
Be careful when handling connections or other elements. Do not place the gas cylinder up side down to fully use its content. After installation of the device, perform the tightness test of all the gas hoses using
soapy water or leak detector spray.

5.1.4 Tightness test
WARNING!
Always perform the tightness test when the device has been disconnected from the gas cylinder or screwed connections have been loosened in the meantime. Make sure there is no source of ignition near the device.
Do not smoke when performing the tightness test. Perform the tightness test only outside or in a well­ventilated outside areas. Do not use open fire to test tightness.
Test the tightness of the device regularly. Immediately perform the tightness test
when the gas smell has been detected.
To check for leakage in the gas installation, make sure that the gas cylinder valve is
closed prior to the tightness test.
Perform the tightness test with soapsuds.
- Prepare the soapy solution using 1 part of washing-up liquid and 3 parts of water.
- Apply the soapy solution onto the connections to be tested using a soap bottle, brush or towel: gas cylinder valve, hose ends, the whole hose length.
- Immediately after the application of the soapy solution, open the gas cylinder valve to check the testing points.
- In the place of leakage soap bubbles are formed from the applied soapy solution.
In case of leakage, close the gas cylinder valve. Replace the leaking elements and
open the gas cylinder valve to repeat the test.
When after several tests there is still damage or gas leakage, contact the sales
agent or notify the customer services. DO NOT USE THE GAS STOOL!

5.2 User instructions
CAUTION!
Carefully read this operation manual as it contains instructions for safety and operation of the device.
Store the manual to use it at any moment. The defective installation, operation errors and maintenance and cleaning mistakes as well as any modifications may cause the incorrect operation, damage and injuries.
5.2.1 Important tips
To safely operate the device, the operating personnel need to receive regular
technical training.
Never make any attempts to disassemble or repair the device. These works may be
performed exclusively by a qualified gas fitter according to the current regulations.
Before use of the device, make sure that its condition does not raise any reservation. Always observe the following safety precautions under all circumstances.
- Make sure that near or under the device there are no objects that may restrict the amount of air necessary for burning.
- In case of longer malfunctions, do not use the device. Close the gas cylinder valve and call for a gas fitter.
- In case of gas leakage (gas smell) close the gas valve, find the leakage and rectify it. Perform the tightness test of the device outdoors only. Never look for the leak with use of open fire but use soapsuds or leak detector spray.
- The user is authorized to perform only everyday routine cleaning to maintain the device in a good condition.
- All works referring to installation and maintenance need to be performed according to the current regulations and by a qualified gas fitter.
- Before each use, check for insects and insect nests, and clean the gas burner, valve and openings. During storing, transport and breaks in the use, spiders and small insects may become present in the valves, hoses and openings. Obstacles in the valve or openings obstruct the flow of air and gas throught the gas burner. It may cause the yellow flame formation, flame return, and lead to fire under the gas burner.

- Use the device only to prepare food products: cooking, frying, heating up.
Never use the device for other purposes. Any other use should be recognised as improper and dangerous.
- Use only suitable cookware of an adequate diameter (pot: 200 - 300 mm, wok 400 - 560 mm).
- Never leave the device unattended during operation.
5.2.2 Operation of the device Device switch on / off

Do not lean over the device during flame ignition! High flame may cause burns.

Perform the tightness test before each use. Open the gas cylinder valve. To ignite the gas burner press the gas tap and turn it anti-clockwise to the ignition
position, hold the gas tap pressed for 10 seconds until the gas burner has been ignited and then release the tap.
When the gas burner does not start, turn the gas tap to the OFF position and repeat
the ignition process described above.
When the ignition process has been performed, turn the gas tap to the MAX position
or to a setting between the ignition position and the MAX position.

Shut down / turn off of ignition flame
When the device is not in use, turn the gas tap clockwise to the OFF position. Close the gas cylinder valve. Leave the device to cool off before start cleaning or moving of the device.
Suitable / not suitable cookware
Use only the cookware and accessories approved and suitable for gas burners.
Only this way the trouble-free operation of the device may be guaranteed.
Never use cookware larger than 28 litres of volume. Use pots / pans of 200 to 300 mm diameter, wok of 400 to 560 mm diameter. Recommended diameter of a flat pan should not be smaller than 250 mm and larger
than 300 mm.
Food preparation
Ignite the gas burner according to the instructions in section “Ignition of gas
burner“.
Place the pot / pan with its content on the gas stool. Do not place an empty pot /
pan on the device, except for a wok.
When cooking with a wok, place the wok in the centre of the device and then fill it
up with the required food ingredients.
Make sure that the cookware stands in the centre on the frame of the gas stool
cooker to avoid over-cooking and gas flame shut down. Particularly in the case of flat pans, pay attention that that the flames do not go beyond the bottom of the flat pan.

6. Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING! Close the gas cylinder valve before cleaning. Wait for the device to cool down. Never use water jet to wash the device. Make sure that no water gets into the device.
CAUTION!
Never clean the device with flammable liquids or liquids of explosive properties. Vapours may cause fire or explosion.
Never use cleaning agents containing chlorine (bleach, hydrochloric acid, etc.). Do not use sponges or scouring agents, steel brushes or spatulas that may
leave iron particles attached, which may result in rust formation on the device due to oxidation.
Cleaning
o Clean the device regularly to maintain it ready for use and extend its life time. o Observe the following instructions:
- Make sure that the gas tap is in the OFF position.
- Make sure that the gas cylinder valve is closed.
- Remove the cookware from the gas stool cooker.
- Wait for the device to cool down.
- Clean the frame of the device daily with a soft cloth or sponge and warm soapy
water, then wipe it with a cloth immersed in clear water.
- Clean the gas burner with a lint-free cloth or sponge moistened with warm water
and a mild cleaning agent.
- Check the gas burner openings and clean them if dirty or clogged.
- Thoroughly dry the cleaned surfaces and elements with a soft cloth.

Maintenance by a gas fitter
Optimal operation of the device is achieved by observing the following instructions.
- All maintenance and repair works must be performed by an authorized gas
specialist.
- The device must be checked at least once a year.
- Regularly clean the thermal element.
- Regularly check the gas burner openings if clean.
Storage
When the device is not used for a longer time, observe the following instructions:
- Close the gas cylinder valve.
- Disconnect the pressure regulator from the gas cylinder.
- Always store the gas cylinder separately from the device, in a well-ventilated
area, away from flammable and explosive products and materials, preferably away from dwelling areas but never in the basement or attic.
- Clean the gas stool cooker according to the instructions in section ”Cleaning“
and store it in a dry, clean, frost-free and sun-free rooms, not accessible to children.
- Wrap the device up with the protective film or pack it to protect against dust
and dirt.
- Do not place any heavy objects on the device.

7. Possible Malfunctions
In case of malfunction, disconnect the device from its power source. Before contacting the service or sales agent, verify - based on the table below - whether it is possible to eliminate disruption in operation.
If you cannot remove the malfunctions:
- do not open the body,
- notify the customer service point or contact the sales
agent, while providing the following information:
type of malfunction; code number and serial number (to read from the rating
plate of the device);
date of purchase.

8. Waste disposal
Dispose of an old, used device when its life time expired according to the domestic and local regulations.
You must NOT dispose of the device with the general household waste. Dispose of the device in the local scrap metal collection point or contact a specialist waste collection company.
The proper disposal of the device will prevent any negative impact on environment and human health, and allow recycling of the production materials leading to significant energy and resources saving.
CAUTION!
Before disposing of the device make sure that the device cannot be restarted to prevent any abuse and related risks.
