Termination

BAPI recommends using twisted pair of at least 22 AWG and crimp type connectors for all wire
connections. Also, it is recommended that wiring NOT be run in the same conduit as line voltage
wiring or with wiring used to supply highly inductive loads such as motors, generators, and coils.

Problems:

Temperature sensor in front end software is reading
high

Temperature sensor in front end software is reading
low

Setpoint is not working correctly

Possible Solutions:

- Is the input set up correctly in the front end software

- Is thermistor physically shorted

- Check wiring for proper termination

- Is the Sensor output correct from (J2) Pin 1 to Pin 2
Refer to table below for proper reading

- Make sure thermistor is installed in sensor

- Check wiring for proper termination

- Is the Sensor output correct from (J2) Pin 1 to Pin 2
Refer to table below for proper reading

- Is the Setpoint output correct from (J2)
Pin 5 to Pin 6.

- Are J4 and J5 set up correctly

- Check wiring for proper termination
