A) Use only BAND-IT brand name ties.
C) Tighten the tie snug by hand, leaving at least a 3” tail.

B) Form a tie by threading the tail end through the buckle.
D) Insert the tail of the tie into the head of tool and the slot of the winding mandrel.
E) Tension the tie by repeatedly squeezing the handles. When the desired tension is reached, release the handles. Do not over tension the tie.
G) Carefully remove the excess tail from the winding mandrel.

F) Cut off the excess tail by firmly pushing the cut-off handle downward.

Adjusting Tool Handle Positions
The handles of this tool are adjustable to three pre-set locations to allow for different orientations of the tool head to the handles. This is for better ergonomics and easier fit in tight spaces, overhead use, etc. Remove quick release pin from the tool, and insert it in the desired location.
