Preamp Reset Procedure
Doing this procedure will reset your preamp to the factory default. Please read the
procedure carefully before doing anything. Make sure that you understand exactly what
you are about to do. When in doubt, call BAT.
1) Unplug the unit for a few minutes.
2) Hold down the two front panel buttons indicated in the table below.
3) While holding down the buttons, plug in the unit.
4) Release the buttons.
5) Turn on the unit.
Find the power-up display of your unit in the table below. Use the indicated button
combination. Some units do not have all the selections that are shown. If you choose
a selection that is not in your unit, the power-up display will not change, and the unit will
not be reset.
For example, you have a VK-51SE, and you hold down the PHASE and 4 buttons.
When you power the unit on, the display still shows VK-51SE. This means that your
unit does not have the VK-42SE settings, and your settings have not been reset.
Resetting the unit with the incorrect buttons will not harm the preamp, but may result in
incorrect behavior or displays
