Introduction
We are confident that you will be delighted with your H35 EXTRACTION HOOD, and it will become a most
valued appliance in your commercial kitchen.
A new appliance can seem very complex and confusing at first glance. To ensure you receive the utmost
benefit from your new Extraction Hood, there are two important things you can do.
Firstly
Please read the instruction book carefully and follow the directions given. The time taken will be well
spent.
Secondly
If you are unsure of any aspect of the installation, instructions or performance of your Extraction Hood,
contact your H35 dealer promptly. In many cases a phone call could answer your question.

Installation Requirements
It is most important that this extraction hood is installed correctly and that operation is
correct before use.
Installation shall comply with local electrical, health and safety, and ventilation
requirements.

Before Installation
Unpack and check unit for damage and report
any damage to the carrier and dealer. Report
any deficiencies to your dealer. Check that the
unit has been supplied with installation
accessories as listed below:
1 Gasket
1 Connection Sleeve
4 Cable Ties—Push Mount
1 Snap Bush—Dia 19mm
1 Silicone RTV Tube 150g
Model Options
The H35 extraction hood is available in two
different model options to suit the two sizes of
E35 convection oven.
Ensure that the H35 model is correct for the E35
oven size it is to be fitted to.
H35-26 1080mm deep to suit E35-26
convection oven (880mm deep).
H35-30 1180mm deep to suit E35-30
convection oven (980mm deep).
Note:
In both cases the extraction fan hood has
a 200mm overhang at front of oven.
An incorrect H35 model size will not fit an E35
convection oven. Refer to specification section
for more dimensional detail of H35 models and
E35 convection ovens.
Installation Onto E35 Convection
Oven
1) Remove left hand and right hand side panels,
and rear right hand service panel from E35
oven.
2) Remove E35 oven top panel by removing
screws on underside of top panel at four corners.

3) Insert 19mm plastic bush into 19mm hole in
chassis top rail of E35 oven.

4) With accessories bag removed from vent outlet chamber of H35 extraction hood, place
H35 on top of E35 oven (with extraction grill
at front).
Note:
Ensure oven vent tube is located into
hole in H35 base.
Rear of hood should be flush with rear of
oven when fitted correctly.

5) Secure hood to oven with one 3/16” BSW
screw in each corner as shown in figure 1.4.

6) Remove right hand side panel from hood (4
screws).
7) Make connection from E35 oven vent tube to
H35 connection elbow with connection sleeve
and two hose clamps supplied.
Note:
A tube of RTV silicone has been
supplied with the hood for use with this
connection.
Fully silicone the connection 20mm above
and below the joint before fitting the sleeve
and clamps to ensure a leak proof
connection.
9) Remove plug from hole in rear upright of oven
chassis.

10) Insert outlet pipe through hole in chassis rear
(see above). Secure with two screws.
11) Attach drain spigot to bottom flange of vent
using supplied gasket and RTV silicone
sealant.

8) Remove end plate from bottom of E35 oven
vent tee.

12) Feed hood power supply cable through
bushing at top of E35 oven. Route supply
cable down to mains terminal blocks,
securing to oven upright with push-fit cable
ties, and attach to L1, Neutral , and Earth.
