WARNING: Thi s is NOT a saf ety device. S om e gases which t hi s inst rument can detect may be com bus ti ble/flam m able. When pr operly configured, this inst rum ent is designed to alarm at c oncent rations t hat are lower t han the ex plos ive l i m i t of t he gas. A s suc h, it is t he buyer’ s res ponsibi l i ty to ini tiate an imm ediate pl anned response t o any gas leaks as soon as they are detec ted. Thi s equipment should NEV E R be used t o m easure or s am ple gases at or above t heir respect ive l ower explosive limi ts .
IMP O RTANT: T he gas m onitor us es a universal power s uppl y that is c apable of accept i ng input s of 100 t o 240 VA C, 50/60 Hz. The moni t or’s power c onsum pt i on i s 20 Wat ts. It i s highly recomm ended that the moni tor be c onnect ed direc t l y t o the A C power source, pre fe rabl y on its own circuit with UPS or surge prot ect i on.
