04. DMX 512 CONNECTIONS
Cables must comply with EIA 422A & EIA 485 norms. Only use shielded cables twisted in pairs. Never use microphone-cables as transmissions are unreliable on long distances. When used for over 300 Mt a signal amplifier is recommended.
Connect DMX cable from controller to the DMX IN base of the first EASYCOLOR 2.
Set-up now a DMX chain as follows: Connect DMX cable between the DMX-output of the first EASYCOLOR 2 and DMX-input of the second EASYCOLOR 2 of the relevant DMX chain. Now repeat operation to connect all the projectors.
To ensure reliable transmission information, make sure to end-up last dmx-cable with a terminal. To accomplish with this operation, solder a 120 Ohm resistor between cores 2 & 3 of a 3-pin XLR-plug. This terminal must be situated on the DMX-output of the last EASYCOLOR 2 DMX-line.

Service & Maintenance of any kind, of your EASYCOLOR 2 must be carried-out by qualified and skilled persons. EASYCOLOR 2 projector needs periodical check-up that essentially depends on the environmental status. Dusty areas and the presence of oily particles produced by fog-generators, can affect the correct operation of the EASYCOLOR 2. This may lead the unit to overheat or cause other serious damage that will not be covered by the warranty.
WARNING!
Always disconnect power
before any operation
01. CLEANING OF THE OPTICS
It is essential that optics-components of the EASYCOLOR 2 are regularly cleaned. Dust and liquid-particles from fog-generators can reduce light-output efficiency.

from venting-grids located on the periphery of the lenses.
Use soft dump cloth to clean diffusion filter & secondary
optics.
Re-install front ring of the projector.
Never use solvent or denatured alcohol for cleaning the optical-systems. The use of distilled-water or glass-detergent is recommended.
02. CLEANING OF VENTING-GRIDS
It is essential to remove all dust laid on the venting-grids. For a perfect air-flow through the venting-grids of EASYCOLOR 2, remove dust with the use of a compressed-air pistol.
Disconnect power-cable from Mains.Use a compressed-air-pistol to blow laid dust-particles
away from venting-grids located beneath the head, as well at the back and beneath the base of the Projector.
Use soft dump cloth to clean venting-grids.
Your EASYCOLOR 2 is equipped with a permanent built-in temperature probe, keeping venting-grids clean will reduce fan speed rotation thus reducing noise.
03. SURVEILLANCE
Your installation must be regularly checked by a qualified sub-contractor. We strongly recommend that the following points are regularly checked every year by qualified personnel:
Projector fixing system must be installed correctly,
ensure that no parts show rust or corrosion. In the event they do, please replace with brand new parts immediately.
