A pair of blade holders allowing the use of
plain blades (see fig 4)
A. Remove the standard blade as described above, Note:
Easy access to the lower housing is provided, when the
side cover is removed.
B. Loosen the two hex screws either side of the holder &
slide the blade up into the centre hole & carefully
re-tighten both hex screws. Note: DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN, as the blade will break. (see fig 5) Repeat
for the other holder.
C. Lower one end of the blade assembly through the
access hole in the table, ensure the blade teeth are
pointing DOWNWARDS & FORWARDS. Slot the lower
blade holder into the lower housing, making sure the
holders ridge engages into the housing recess. (see fig 6)

D. Appying DOWNWARD pressure on the upper arm, slot the upper blade holder onto
the housing as described before in step āCā. (see fig 7)
E. Replace the table insert and the side cover & re-tighten the blade by
turning the blade tensioning knob two full turns clockwise.
(NO MORE THAN TWO TURNS OTHERWISE THE BLADE WILL BREAK UNDER LOAD)
F. Lower the blade guard, if not already done so & continue with operation.
