The AXIS 200+ Web Camera is the world’s first self-contained Web server and
network camera. It includes everything you need to capture live images and
deliver them to any desktop over intranets, the Internet, or mixed network
environments. Just install the camera directly to your Ethernet network, ISDN
line, or phone line via dedicated or wireless modem and you’ll be ready to view
images via a standard Web browser in no time. It’s the easy way to enhance your
remote monitoring systems and increase the value of your network.

Wide Range of Applications

Use the AXIS 200+ Web Camera for everything from surveillance to remote
alarm verification. Keep watch over sensitive areas, entrance lobbies, parking lots,
and supply rooms. Monitor manufacturing operations and construction sites.
Remotely verify alarm signals. Automatically send a time or event-triggered live
image via e-mail. The possibilities are endless.

Install in Minutes

True plug-and-play installation takes only minutes. No extra system resources,
special software, or file server involvement are needed. You can also connect the
server to the network via a modem for remote applications. The camera has the
ability to initiate a file transfer over phone lines or Ethernet to remote hosts.

Use in Any Environment

Open Web server design allows easy integration into intranet-based groupware
applications as well as into the Internet itself. You can also use it in mixed
operating environments, such as Windows, Mac, UNIX and OS/2. Viewing
clients require only a standard Web browser and TCP/IP access.

Fast, Quality Imaging

Compress and send two high-quality images (352 x 288) per second. Using push
technology, send up to six images per second over direct network connections.
Larger images (up to 704 x 576) can be captured, and 2x zoom capability is now
available.

Replaceable Lens

The standard AXIS 200+ lens can be replaced with any CS mount or C mount
(with C/CS ring) lens. It also supports auto-iris lenses for bright environments.

SOFTWARE UPDATES

Flash memory allows central and remote soft­ware updates over the network using FTP over
TCP/IP. All software upgrades are available via
Axis WWW server and offered free of charge.

PROGRAMMABLE

Extended CRON service allows periodic
command execution within the AXIS 200+.
This enables programming of events and/or time
triggered functions.

Command examples:
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Simple Mail
Transfer Protocol (SMTP) for image transfer
from the AXIS 200+ to e-mail addresses.
Online/Offline commands establish/terminate
PPP connections to the AXIS 200+.

The image size is programmable using CGI
parameters up to a maximum size of 704 x 576.
It is possible to do a zoom-in of 352 x 288.

Server push for live updated pictures.
Parameters for rotation, quality, mirroring, color,

etc. can be set.

A high-quality JPEG file updated in 0.7 second.
Up to 6 frames/second transmitted using server
